Chalston Beach Resort

Contrary to many other places to stay in Goa, this one is very to the standards of real hotel and good services, and all these at a good price. Clean, well equipped, on the main beach in Northern Goa, walking distance to entertainment and shopping, with swimming pool, restaurant, etc. Rooms with air conditioning (very important factor in this humid climate). Good choice of food for breakfast. Efficient staff.

We had an amazing 10-day stay at Chalston Hotel with breakfast included, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the rooms were spotless, luxurious, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private terrace – perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Room service was quick, and the food was delicious throughout our stay. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It has two lovely pools, and the beach is literally a 30-second walk away. Baga Beach, with its lively bars and fun atmosphere, is just a 5-minute walk, and Anjuna’s famous party spots are only about 20 minutes by taxi. The entire vibe of the hotel and the area is friendly, relaxed, and perfect for both chilling and exploring. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow , this was one of the most amazing holidays we have had. The staff at this place are so friendly & helpful & always make time to speak. We ate at the restaurant every evening as they had a fabulous menu. Our room was one of the garden cottage’s & it was beautiful. Cleanliness of our room & restaurant was exceptional. We will definitely be returning & a BIG thank you to all the staff .

This was our first visit to India, we are in our 70s and we were both a little apprehensive but the reception staff were so professional/helpful all went very smoothly. We stayed for 17nts, with the following findings; Every member of staff we met were very pleasant, helpful and courteous. Housekeeping staff work to the highest standards in all areas. The garden's are stunning, the work involved was appreciated during our walk to the restaurant. Breakfast, all tastes are catered for with plenty to satisfy a fussy eater, the same can be said regarding the restaurant menu, service as ever was excellent. These standards can only be achieved by years of good management. We would say this is probably one of the best hotels we have visited, Many thanks to everyone at Chalstone for a lovely holiday. E&A

This is a 3+ star beach resort between Baga and Calangute beaches. It is of good size with lush green gardens. There are different types of rooms, the small budget rooms are in the old block with their own reception, even though they are cheaper, but the deluxe rooms in the new wing are a bit higher in price but worth it. They overlook a pool which is advertised as exclusive to those rooms, but not much so. The rooms are well-sized with a small but well-equipped bathroom and lots of storage space. There is a mini fridge and hot drink facility with a sufficient supply of water and tea and coffee. There are two small swimming pools. There is only one beachside restaurant serving all meals, it overlooks the beach with chairs facing the beach to relax and watch the sunset. The breakfast is good with Indian and continental cuisine. The food is multicuisine and is very good. We arrived early in the morning and booked a small room to relax for a few hours from our flight until our booked rooms are ready at 2pm. We paid for the room, but when we checked in our booked rooms, they refunded the cost of the temporary room. This was a very kind gesture; our thanks and appreciation go to Anthony Fernandes at the reception. This is a very good place to relax. This resort is highly recommended if a place near to the beach is required.

It's a family run resort and attention to details is amazing. Cleanliness and maintenance is top notch. They have two swimming pools and both are immaculately maintained. The Buffet spread is large and the food is good. The restaurant area opens to the Ocean.
