Chalston Beach Resort

Thoroughly impressive hotel! Great food, ambiance, and proximity to the beach. The property is huge with two swimming pools. The only drawback is that one needs to walk a lot within the property. The breakfast spread is excellent! Truly memorable stay!

This is a 3+ star beach resort between Baga and Calangute beaches. It is of good size with lush green gardens. There are different types of rooms, the small budget rooms are in the old block with their own reception, even though they are cheaper, but the deluxe rooms in the new wing are a bit higher in price but worth it. They overlook a pool which is advertised as exclusive to those rooms, but not much so. The rooms are well-sized with a small but well-equipped bathroom and lots of storage space. There is a mini fridge and hot drink facility with a sufficient supply of water and tea and coffee. There are two small swimming pools. There is only one beachside restaurant serving all meals, it overlooks the beach with chairs facing the beach to relax and watch the sunset. The breakfast is good with Indian and continental cuisine. The food is multicuisine and is very good. We arrived early in the morning and booked a small room to relax for a few hours from our flight until our booked rooms are ready at 2pm. We paid for the room, but when we checked in our booked rooms, they refunded the cost of the temporary room. This was a very kind gesture; our thanks and appreciation go to Anthony Fernandes at the reception. This is a very good place to relax. This resort is highly recommended if a place near to the beach is required.

Pros: 1. Situated right on the beach, the sea view from the restaurant is fantastic! In our opinion, that's the main highlight of staying here. 2.Clean and spacious rooms. 3. Lush green lawns, well maintained property and beautiful statues of Buddha :) Cons: 1. Once the restaurant is closed and lights are off the beach area in front of the hotel is pitch dark and become hard to spot the hotel. Please at least have a SINGLE lamp post on, and a bigger billiboard so guests can easily spot the back entrance. The security is also non existent there. Definitely needs improvement. 2. Better system to handle housekeeping -- The protocol is to hand over keys to the reception sometime during the day, and houskeeping will clean rooms. I haven't seen this anywhere else, where a guest is required to personally hand over keys to the reception desk, and room cleaning is shut down after evening. 3. Better handle customer requests -- In one particular incident I dialled up reception to ask for extra bottle of water, only to be told to redirect my call to housekeeping. A better thing to do would have been for them to coordinate with housekeeping than redirect guests. However, overall our stay here was pretty pleasant, and I elaborated on the cons only to hope them seeing addressed. Will surely visit again, if we decide to stay at Calangute.

A perfect location, this perfactly situated betwin Calingut and Baga beach , so when u walk to the Beach you get an emptying patch of beach which can serve as your private beach. Moreover, it's always felm heavy rush sread of Calingut and Baga. We hired two cottages and one room. It was good , rooms were spacious and nicely located with all the necessities. The issues with roks were the lock was not working we complaint to the guys but they did nothing. The swimming pool was bicem there was two swimming pools, one was reserved for delux rooms only. The resort is tatsefully decorated and the walsk to beach it pleasant Staff was good and responsive. The brekfast menu was very good , they kept changing it which was good things Walk to Beach or walk to market was not at ll far. Overall. We loved staying here...a Lil bit of improvement in their room service can go a Long way.

Nestled cosily between Baga and Calangute beaches, this beautiful and serene holiday beach resort is a true gem in North Goa. The resort has rooms and cottages to suit all budget types and all within a minute's walk to the main beach. The rooms are modern, well maintained and equipped with all amenities you would expect and a little bit more too! The resort itself is set in a luscious green space, full of coconut trees, jasmine, hibiscus, boughinvillas and many other tropical plants and trees keeping in tune with the local flora and fauna. The 2 good sized swimming pools are wonderful with good seating and a wee bar area. The hotel has a great onsite restaurant serving Indian, continental and global cuisine all served with care and a smile by the staff. The food itself is quite delicious! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short or long stay in Goa and for easy access to the beach, dining and local shops.

I couldn't fault this hotel for friendly people, amazing staff, management and especially the owner Mr Chalston. He was very helpful on my last night there, I cut my leg quite badly Mr Chalston was very helpful he called a taxi and also spoke to the Dr doing a video call to show him the cut on my leg and arranging a visit to the hospital. The cleanliness of this hotel was amazing clean sheets and towels everyday. The restaurant was very clean and the food was lovely and plenty of different foods to choose from and at very good prices.
