AluaSun Cala Antena - All Inclusive

A ‘cheap and cheerful’ option. The majority of the staff are lovely, especially the bar staff and animation team. The food isn’t great but there is loads of variety and options for fussy eaters. The puddings are a bit rubbish but the breakfast is good! Be extremely careful with kids and the bathroom doors! The door lock is extremely stiff and on the first day my daughter got locked in there which was obviously very stressful for her. She was rescued by a lovely cleaner who said it happens frequently. The rooms are outdated but very clean. Beds were comfy, agree re others re noise! Views of the sea were lovely. The thing I really didn’t like, but I don’t imagine the hotel has much control over, is that this hotel seems to attract a huge amount of smokers and if you’re not one, you will be surrounded by fumes at the pool constantly. This is probably the key thing that would stop me coming back.

This was our third visit and we love it every time. On arrival,we were greeted by waka who is lovely and made the check in experience great. We request the same room before we go and they always honour our request,fantastic sea view. Food was great, Juan and Samuel in the bar were fab as usual even though they pulled the shutters down on us during a thunderstorm 😂. The only downside for us was that the evening entertainment was inside but that's no fault of the hotel, it's due to weather but we prefer to sit on the outside terrace. We will be back, thank you everyone for a great week ❤️

Just back from 11 days at AluaSun Cala atena. We had a brilliant time. Facilities/staff/entertainment/food/drink all way above expectations. Very close to an awesome little beach and only 5/10 minutes to the shops and bars. The live shows put on by the hotel staff were absolutely awesome 🤩. Yes rooms a bit dated but there’s nothing missing and the air con is brilliant. Activities and games on throughout the day. Outside snack bar open from 10-6 with contains buffet style hot food like burgers, chips, pizza, nuggets etc. Only downside for me was no pool inflatables allowed. Tip…you get a token on arrival that you exchange for a cup for drinks during the day, meaning you get one drink at a time and the cups are only small. We saw lots of people bringing their own plastic cups with lid/straw and taking those upto the bar to fill to save you keep going up to the bar. Would definitely return to this hotel

Would definitely go again! The rooms were spacious for 2 people to stay in, bathroom had a nice vanity area if anyone likes to get ready with nice lighting and a mirror. When checking in staff were lovely even though we got there late at night. Food was great for an all inclusive, there was always something to eat during the day but dinners were disappointing. Snack bar was our favourite part, constant foods such as chicken nuggets, chips and lots more there. Hotel was just a 5 minute walk from the town with many shops nearby, shops are also right next door to the hotel. We also went to the beach one day which was also about a 10 minute walk and was absolutely fantastic, €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella with a nice cliff to jump into the water from. Only thing I would say is even in May it was extremely busy and there is only one bar which means the ques are long but the drinks are definitely not watered down although the cocktails are definitely more slushie like and not very strong. Grab your sunbeds early as they fill up extremely fast! Other than that was a lovely stay and the place and staff were lovely. Alvaro had activities lined up the entire day and was very convincing to join in! 5/5 stay!

Value for money. It is a very professional run hotel that I have visited over many years. The food and service from all aspects of the hotel are of a high standard. Staff are hard working and happy while interacting with customers. If you engage with the team they are so helpful. There are customers that can be exceptionally over indulgent and nasty to other customers and the staff. However we throughly enjoy our family holiday. Relax and enjoy yours when you visit.

This hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are wonderful, the entertainment team are the best by far, they are very friendly, always have time to stop and chat. They are such good fun day and night. The show grease they all did was superb. There is always something to do. The bar staff always greet you with a smile no matter how busy they are. The restaurant staff clear tables quickly and cook food fresh in front of you. There is such a variety of food in the restaurant, with a different theme every night. The hotel itself is beautiful, the grounds are very highly maintained. The pool and pool area is exceptionally clean and there is a lifeguard at all times.
