AluaSun Cala Antena - All Inclusive

Started off good but ended in chaos. Mostly friendly staff, Juan from by the bar was amazing. Food pretty good but same stuff every day. My sister left 100€ and jewellery at the hotel through no fault of her own, her hotel door dropped and jammed 10 minutes before we were getting our transfer to the airport. Reception staff on that day was rude and absolutely useless, my sister and her boyfriend almost missed the transfer because they had to crow bar her bedroom door in half to get in to get the passports to leave. Amongst all the drama she forgot jewellery and money in the room, she called the hotel and they said they haven’t seen anything. Was thinking about booking again but after the whole door ordeal and loss of money and rude woman staff on reception that day, I think we’ll find somewhere else. We booked with easyjet, I think we were just unlucky.

Not a bad hotel but very basic, food is not bad lots to choose from and lots of sun loungers. I think the negatives out weigh and good unfortunately. Had a family room which is in separate blocks and it was shocking. Ac not working , paint pealing and a yellow bathtub due to it being painted. There is a horrible smell of sewage swamping the room and broken items around the room. Staff did send someone to fix the Ac but that was it.

If you're looking for value for money this is the hotel for you. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean. I am a very fussy eater but never went hungry and the drink flowed. Center of town and beach five minutes walk. Loved the beach safes.

I’ll start with the bad and end with the good in this review. In short would I stay here again? No!! Negatives * 1 plug socket in the whole room (we have a baby so this was hard for all his things) * The walls are super thin can hear every conversation from your neighbour * The doors slam which causes the balcony windows to just shake (very noisy) * Music is SO loud. Due to the thin windows you can hear the music so loudly we were the furthest from the stage and was so loud didn’t end till after midnight * Not baby /wheelchair friendly at all there is a lift and a little stairlift for dinner but everywhere else to go to the pool, seating areas outside all have steps so a bit of a pain with a pushchair as no ramps not easily accessible * No air con. Not sure if that’s because we went in October and they’ve turned it off but we had no aircon so was very warm * No mini fridge or any accessories I will attatch the list such as aircon to be rented at £99 for a week etc. * very dated. The whole hotel needs a revamp they need to paint outside and update the rooms the bathroom is really old and poorly maintained. * Once you check out they cut your wristband so no more access just bare in mind if you have a late flight. * The sun beds and outside area is filthy * They have a lifeguard that sits on their phone the entire time - very poor at their job (there was multiple and they all did nothing but sit in the back on their phone) The positives * for a 3 star the food was actually good. It was the usual same thing for lunch everyday but dinners were good and snack bar was always open * Although it was dated the room is relatively clean (apart from the disgusting toilet brush) * Last week of entertainment when we went but it was very good!

What a great place to stay all the staff are great and helpful. Lovely walks from the hotel if not All In there plenty of bars and restaurants just up the road with plenty else to see and buy. If you need a pharmacy there is one there very helpful. I’d def recommend the glass bottom boat trip to Cala Millor altogether we were out visiting coves and a stop 7 hours for 2 people £70 euros but book through your hotel little more expensive but worth it 🥰

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days in the beginning in October. The hotel is old and worn-out, furniture looks like it will fall apart, bathrooms in awfull condition. We stayed in the family room. Our son's matress was covered with an old mold. The one good thing we had а new bedding, pillows and duveys. Two of four nights we didn't have hot water to take a shower. There was a wide variety of a tasty food every day(meat, fish, seafood), but my biggest dissapointment was desserts, they were disgusting. Also food is not hot enough, they have mircooven, don't forget to put salad separately:) Drinks 🍸 were watery and too sugary. We had few unpleasant surprises: 1. Be prepared to get a no alcohol mohito you should pay around 5€. 2. Also if you would like to have a beach towel you should pay 10€ deposit on cash (you will receive it back when you return a towel, to change it to clean one cost 1€). 3. To use all-inclusive after check out (12 o'clock) you should pay additional 20 £ adult and 10€ child (up to 12 years) and it doesn't matter when you arrived. Territory is nice and green a lot of sunbeds around. Location is good not too far from beaches. The first beach Cala Antena a small one with stunning view, (water near the bank is little bit dirty) 7 minutes from the hotel, there is a lots of steps dawn. Another beach (12 minutes away) is a big, stunning sandy beach. On the way to the bigger beach you will pass small shops and cafés but a lot of them already closed in October. A big thank you for all hotel's staff, they are really hardworking, quick and helpful. Hotel needs a capital renovation. Maybe with a big discount hotel is worth to visit, but not for full price.
