TH Gioiosa Mare - Capo Calavà Village

This is not a calm and quiet Holiday. It's full of fun,culture, music, musicals, theatre and sport and competitions. All of this only if you want to. You can just lay on a beach and listen to music. The hotel is situated in a hotel village. There is no place to go, no place to shop, there are no local people, no strangers who live nearby. But all day long you are not bored! The crew prepared a full programe. The ROOMS are cleaned every day. The FOOD Is very good, sicilian: seafood, pasta, vegetables, pizza, sandwich. In all inclusive, you can have delicious coffee and non alcoholic drinks all day long. From 12:00 vine and beer, aperitives, Amaro, limoncelo...Evening coctails. There is a bar also on a beach! My boyfriend loves meat, which was not every day and if it was, there was only one kind. But it's the way Sicilian people eat!:) The SEA was absolutely perfect. One of the best beaches I have seen! Absolutely clean water. The crew was kind, funny and full od energy. They inform you about the program. And you can see every information in an application (at the reception they give you the instrutions how to upload) I really recomend this Holiday!! Especially many thanks to Giulia and her morning exercises on a beach! And to maestro Fabrizio! I listened his soft music he played every evening on terrazza while I was drinking coctails and enjoying the most romantic sunset I have ever seen! And the musical Romeo and Juietta? Just wow, wow, wow! I cried in a plane while comming back from this Holiday, I didn't want to ho home! :D A really recomend this hotel village. Good for children, adults and also for seniors. Yes, there are some stairs in the area, but I havent seen people having problems. And the Italians are heart opened, kind and friendly, as usual!

Animation programmes are way too loud! They scream till 1 am every night. Breakfasts dont contain vegetables. There is no wifi in the rooms which are further from reception Everything else was nice, but the noice every night is terrible.

The stay at this resort was great. Lots of animation programs for both children and adults. The menu at the bar was sufficient. The food was really amazing. Italian specialties, fine dining, I really have never encountered such a luxurious offer in a hotel restaurant. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very modest and the same every day. The beach is totally unsuitable for people with limited mobility, it was very difficult to get into the sea and then climb back to the beach. We had big waves most of the stay which was great. The sea calmed down on the last day, but unfortunately jellyfish appeared and burned our daughter. Upon our arrival we were given a room that absolutely did not meet our requirements. It was not tidy, there was a tiny window and no terrace or balcony. Our children did not fit on the bunk bed. It took two days to get an adequate room. After that, everything was fine. It would be better to add more English language to your program? Italian is beautiful, but there are also guests in the hotel who do not speak Italian. And I believe that it would be very beneficial for all of us and we would enjoy our vacation as much as possible.

Nice stay at this hotel. Clean beach with rock. Food was very good. But unfortunately not every offered dish had description in English. Hotel is located in the village. So if you would like to see something, you have to book a trip. Because expect the hotel in this village is nothing. I recomend this location for people who like to swim and stay on the beach.

Sono rientrata ieri da una vacanza di 15 giorni con il gruppo di Torino di Anna Maria e Stefano. Che dire? Tutto ottimo: cibo, spiaggia, animazione. Le camere sono ampie con cassaforte, tv, frigo. Se vogliamo trovare una pecca la navetta per il centro paese non dovrebbe essere a pagamentoOttimo il direttore artistico Manuel, il direttore del resort dott. Asti, tutti gli animatori che anche con la pioggia ci hanno fatto divertire e commuovere con i bellissimi spettacoli. Un grazie a ,Marcello infaticabile nel montare e smontare ombrelloni, spostare sdraio, sempre sorridente e gentile. Infine un plauso a tutti i baristi che ci hanno servito cocktail, prosecco e caffè in quantità industriale. Grazie a tutti per la cortesia e la gentilezza

Come già detto la struttura avrebbe bisogno di una piccola "rinfrescata" soprattutto le camere sopra la hall dove abbiamo soggiornato noi. La disponibilità dello staff impeccabile dal mitico " bagnino" Marcello sempre attento con tanta tanta pazienza verso i bambini, al capo villaggio che è un vero e proprio swoman, un complimento speciale al direttore della struttura Andrea Asti una persona che sa mettersi sempre in prima linea nella buona e nella cattiva sorte mettendo sempre in primis le esigenze del cliente , ristorazione buona e variegata ogni giorno,. Un ringraziamento super al team del TH Land, grazie a loro ho dimenticato di avere tre bambini per 6 giorni ahahahaha.
