Caybeach Caleta

Only good thing about this place is the location, close to the beach and restaurants and shops. We booked to have 8 nights here, we survived 3 and ended up booking to stay somewhere else for our own health. The place was infested in ants, on the sofa, bed, floor, kitchen tops and bathroom. We complained about them and we were told the cleaners would come which they did, but they told us to spray them with this aerosol which we couldn't that much as i have asthma and it effected it majorly, we tried to negotiate a refund as we spent nearly £700 to stay here but they refused without a thought. We wasted so much food we bought to save money from eating out due to these little ants, you can't even keep food there or leave a drink on the side while you watch TV because it ends up with ants all over it. They don't even provide cleaning products to help keep the areas clean, but yet expect us to keep the ants away.... I used to stay here as a kid and have nothing but happy memories here, but our stay them 3 nights have changed my mind completely and I will not be returning.

So reading the reviews prior going on our holiday. I was actually terrified to sleep on my first night, listening to every little noise. I didn't help having the fair on. But actually it never bothered us. (And now gone went Sunday) we always kept the curtains across all time plus keep the room cooler. And kept thing's out of sight and in the safe we also moved the heavy coffeetableover the door at bedtime and a chair on top under the door. We had zero problems and didn't hear of any attempted brake in at all. Thank god. We did pay a tiny bit extra for a pool view and kept us in the complex and off the road. Made us feel safer. So would recommend. The cleaner are lovely chatty and amazing at keeping the rooms nice and fresh and well stocked clean tea towels and ect. On our last clean they left sweets on our children's bed for them, such a lovely thing to do and thank you made the kids happy. The Little shop attached to caybeach is lovely and reasonable prices for water and ect. And always gave my two kids a freebie my little girl loved going. And thank you for the little extras really kind of the lovely lady. Can't say much about the staff in reception Thankfully we didn't need them so can't say much about them . The lady who checked us in didn't have alot to say. And we at to ask for safe remote ect. Luckily I read all this before going. If not would have at to go back to reception again. We was only the ones checking in so wasn't because it was busy or anything. Just not really welcoming or chatty. But made no odds like I said Luckily we didn't need to speak to them. When checking out again not alot of communication. But made no odds to our holiday. We had a lovely time. The pool the lady who was on the first two days is grumpy no ball's at all in or around the pool. She would clock them and off she would go haha. You can have toys that sink and ect my kids love them. The man lifeguard worked hard helping people with sunbeds and umbrella was a lovely vibe and was so helpful. Thank you for making the pool feel more relaxed. We did go down at 9.30 to get in the line for the chain up beds opening at 10.00. But we did use our beds. Nit like a lot of people getting 7 beds and not using them. I don't aggre with this. Last 3 days of our holiday we went walking. And wouldn't have dreamed saving beds all day case we wanted a quick swim later. I think they should but a 2hr warning card on the bed if not been removed after this the towels should be taken away. So the other families get a chance. My only rant. The man who did the pool activities and ect. For some reason never tried to get our kids involved nor sure why. Because my kids normally love joining in. But because he never made a effort they didn't feel comfortable to approach him. He seemed to stick to the same families. It's a shame really. I think he needs to approach the new families too that is job after all not. Staying with all the big families. This is my honest r

Our first time in the canaries , this place was recommended to my husband by one of his work colleagues whom is a regular to Caybeach and we was not disappointed at all , our first night we landed around 7.30 pm was a nice quick taxi ride from the airport which cost £15 euros , quick &easy check in then went straight out for something to eat & couple of drinks , arrived back to the bungalow around 11.45pm to find we had no electricity working so we had to go to reception where one of the staff came down to help but could not get it working by 12.30 am we was in a different bungalow straight across the road from reception. Bungalow was nice clean&spacious , was cleaned most days , beds are very comfortable the air con is a must the room was always a nice cool temperature, you are literally a few mins walk from everything , lots of nice bars & restaurants. If you’re heading to the beach there’s a guy across from the mini golf who does cartoon drawings and he is excellent 👌🏻. We will definitely return one day again to caleta de Fuste ( one little thing we did not like nothing to do with Caybeach but everyone seemed to smoke 🚬 everywhere we went)
