Barceló Fuerteventura Royal Level

We had been to this hotel the year before and enjoyed it so much we went back. It is excellent! We went on the Royal Level, adult-only package and found it to be amazing. A dedicated check-in area, with complimentary drinks and snacks (while you wait) and a huge apartment rather than just a room. It's also the little details that make this hotel great..new towels every day, complimentary toilettries, great coffee-making facilities and a large fridge in the room, free beach towels, so many pools to choose from (5?) plus the beach. Endless choice of restaurants and superb food in each one, plus a gym, tennis courts and many boat trips/sealion show to watch, the list goes on. Plus ALL of the staff are lovely. They really seem to enjoy their jobs, smiling and very helpful. Cannot recommend enough!

We had the loveliest extended family break at this resort! The staff were amazing, the food was endless and fresh. So many restaurants and choice. Heated pool was appreciated. We stayed at Royal level and when we booked we didn't realise that this meant we had access to more food restaurants. The apartments were big and spacious and very clean. Always clean towels and pool towels provided.

Great week away in a great hotel. Great service all parts. Entertainment is fantastic.Food you have a great choice with many different restaurants to pick from. Bars have all the drinks that you could ask for.

We stayed B&B at the Royal level family as a couple and I'm pleased we did. Before we even arrived,we were asked for our preferences, eg bed type, pillow firmness and even room scent. A lovely extra touch if you book direct. We checked in early and was greeted with a welcome bar on arrival and told to help ourselves anytime.  The entrance to the Royal level is a short walk away, where we had an enormous suite, with a pool facing balcony from which we could see the sea. If you book a sea view here it would be spectacular.  The rooms were well laid out with a large bedroom with lots of storage. There is also a sofa, table and yet more storage in the lounge with iron and ironing board.  Be aware there are no usb charging points, so do bring adaptors. There is also not so much drawer space but plenty of shelving and hanging. The welcome mini bar (included) contained cola , beer , beer zero, cava and orange juice which is nice. The tea and coffee in the room was good quality and cartons of water left daily very handy indeed.  The bathroom is large with a powerful shower over a bath, this could be a bit more modern but was very clean. There is also shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and moisturiser provided along with amenity kits and a powerful hairdryer.  Despite being the family area , the pool area was peaceful and plenty of quality padded sun beds. The pool bar looked nice and the heated pool inviting.  Breakfast at El Ancla  was exceptional. Fresh eggs were cooked , along with eggs Benedict, omelettes, brie and truffle toastie, pancakes and churros. There was a large choice of drink including fresh squeezed orange juice , mango, apple etc , cava, flavoured water, kombucha and hot drinks. The choices included English breakfast, continental breakfast, jamon, Spanish sausage, smoked salmon , cheeses , membrillo, guacamole and the most gorgeous fresh bread and rolls. Also miniature cartons of kellogs cereal, miniature jars of heinz ketchup, honey and mayo etc along with a whole honeycomb. The pasties, muffins  and cakes where amazing. Breakfast was a real treat.  There's  also lots of places to eat outside of the hotel and only a short away, we'd definitely recommend.

The hotel is beautiful—quiet and clean throughout, with very polite staff who are a true credit to the establishment. The pool is also well-maintained and has wonderfully warm water, making for a great swimming experience. Additionally, the food offers plenty of choices. However, I do have one complaint: some of the dishes were lukewarm, bordering on cold. I believe that providing a microwave in the dining area would help improve this, as the food itself is delicious. It's just the lukewarm temperature that detracts from the overall experience.

Our third time staying at the Royal Level Adults Only and we are booked to go back, that says it all. The staff are all brilliant and are now more like family lol. Our bungalow was near the pool and sea and had a brilliant outlook, it had lots of space and a nice sized patio with chairs and a table.The Royal Level is very handy for the airport it takes about 10 - 15 mins in the taxi or you can get the local bus just up from the taxi rank.
