Barceló Fuerteventura Royal Level

We had been to this hotel the year before and enjoyed it so much we went back. It is excellent! We went on the Royal Level, adult-only package and found it to be amazing. A dedicated check-in area, with complimentary drinks and snacks (while you wait) and a huge apartment rather than just a room. It's also the little details that make this hotel great..new towels every day, complimentary toilettries, great coffee-making facilities and a large fridge in the room, free beach towels, so many pools to choose from (5?) plus the beach. Endless choice of restaurants and superb food in each one, plus a gym, tennis courts and many boat trips/sealion show to watch, the list goes on. Plus ALL of the staff are lovely. They really seem to enjoy their jobs, smiling and very helpful. Cannot recommend enough!

We had the loveliest extended family break at this resort! The staff were amazing, the food was endless and fresh. So many restaurants and choice. Heated pool was appreciated. We stayed at Royal level and when we booked we didn't realise that this meant we had access to more food restaurants. The apartments were big and spacious and very clean. Always clean towels and pool towels provided.

Yesterday, we returned to rainy London after an unforgettable week from 18th to 25th February at our favourite Barcelo hotel. We had an amazing time with our family and created countless wonderful memories. Although we arrived at the hotel 3 hours later than planned due to a flight delay, the hotel surprised us with an upgrade to the Royal Level. Despite this being our fourth Barcelo hotel and us being members of My Barcelo, we were pleasantly surprised by this generous gesture. We are truly grateful to the hotel for this! It’s worth mentioning that you can enjoy the Royal Level even outside the Adults-Only area — the hotel has a separate RL Family area. Our room was a spacious two-bedroom suite with an ocean view. The room was well equipped with a minibar, beach towels without a deposit (with free exchanges), slippers, bathrobes, a hairdryer, an iron with an ironing board, a safe, a mini coffee machine with a kettle, and daily replenishment of tea bags and coffee capsules. Every evening, they brought chocolates to our room — a lovely touch! The Family area within the Royal Level has a heated pool (26°C) and a separate pool bar. We preferred to have breakfast and dinner at the El Ancla buffet, which has an open terrace with a view of the Marina. The menu always featured seafood, fish, and options for people with food intolerances. For those on the Royal Level, lunch could be enjoyed at either the Barcelo Mar or Castillo buffets, in the exclusive Deluxe areas. Additionally, guests on the Royal Level have access to all the ice cream cafés and bars along the promenade that are part of the hotel, as well as unlimited visits to à la carte restaurants and the spa. The hotel also has two kids' clubs, and our 6-year-old happily attended the one at Mar every day. Special thanks to Anna, the animator, for her talent in winning over the children’s hearts! Thanks to the kids’ club, my husband and I were able to enjoy several hours each day to ourselves, visiting the Adults-Only area and the spa. The spa area deserves a special mention — all the pools contain natural saltwater. And the Adults-Only area is simply amazing! You don’t need to walk to the pool bar if you don’t want to leave your comfy sunbed. You can order drinks via the QR code in the app, and even order food from the menu, such as a salad with local goat’s cheese, which is considered by many to be the best in the world. We enjoy walking a lot, so a 1km stroll along the promenade from our room at Castillo to the Mar area wasn’t an issue for us. However, if you don’t enjoy walking such distances, it might be a bit of a challenge. All-Inclusive is undoubtedly the perfect package for booking this hotel. As travel consultants we visited this hotel to try out the Barcelo brand with a view to recommending this to our customers. We stayed in the Royal level adults only and it was fantastic from start to finish. We had a 2 bedroom suite with 3 balcony's and a sea view. The room was spotless, no signs of any wear and tear. The food was great, we went half board, the drinks where very good, made to order cocktails, no plastic glasses, same service whether you paid or where on All Inclusive. It was like being in a city centre cocktail bar in the UK. Wine was 3euros and good quality. We ate Salmon for breakfast every day and you can change between lunch and evening meal when on half board which is a good option. We also tried the Mexican restaurant and Brazilian restaurant at the main hotel which were great. We used the gym and the spa which was good and reasonably priced. The pool is beautiful, heated, so usable. The entertainment was good at night too. Our room was cleaned and tidyed for us every day. We couldn't fault anything and will be sending our customers to the Barcelo chain of hotels in future.

Very enjoyable stay, if you haven’t got kids with you this is the place to go. Definitely the best choice in this resort.
