Returned home on Sunday after an 8 night stay with my husband, we have stayed a few before & always enjoy it here. We had a nice room on the 5th floor with a great sea view but no sun on the balcony. The room & bathroom was kept clean @ all times. A bit of a hit or miss if the maid leaves you any coffee or milk!!! Good choice of food @ all meals, I need to mention Tracey in the restaurant she is fantastic friendly & funny, all the staff are great to be honest. The guys in the bar upstairs @ night time are also fantastic & try their best to serve drinks as quick as they can so please be patient with them. Always plenty sun loungers available although this was March, weather was good except for the 1st two days when it was really windy although this is obviously not the hotels fault!!! We had a meal one night @ the tex mex, really enjoyed our food & a nice change from the buffet restaurant, good service & a really chilled quiet atmosphere. Staff on reception always helpful & polite & was good to see Kasia again (public relations) always has a happy smiling face . I have never in any of my reviews had a bad word to say about Elba Sara BUT this time I was a little bit annoyed & frustrated as it states if you have a fidelity card you will be given water on arrival, I have never had this before & didn’t receive any this time either. I thought the way forward was to make requests via the APP, after we had checked in & had something to eat I requested another 2 pillows through the app as my husband has arthritis in his neck & these never appeared, I asked again 3 or 4 days later again through the app but no pillows turned up!!! I also reported through the app on the 1st night that the balcony doors wouldn’t lock, again there was no response to that either, I don’t leave my doors unlocked @ home & didn’t expect to have to do it here either & just didn’t feel safe through the night regardless being on the 5th floor. So lesson learned if & when I come back again I will immediately go to reception with any issues. On the last day we asked for a late check out as flight wasn’t until 9.20pm but it was a NO once again, same as all the other times we have stayed I understand it’s subject to availability but we have stayed here in the months of March, September & October & never been able to keep our room on. Will we be back probably, but not this year as we have other holidays planned. Anyone going soon then enjoy
