Elba Carlota Beach & Golf Resort

On entering this hotel I got the impression straight away this was not a 4 star hotel the furniture in reception was old and dated. The gentleman on reception had a unironed suit that looked dirty and this gave me my first impression of what to expect from this hotel the lift's have open glass which was dirty and our room was very dated and furnishings were very old. We are all inclusive but I only used the restaurant on the first evening the place was full and the staff could not keep up I found no plates and most of the foods were to waiting to ve replenished. This hotel should be a three star at most and I would advise to check out the hotel before investing money.

The quality of the hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly clean and tidy at all time the pool areas well kept food was good quality the entertainment gang also very good I can recommend the hotel to all to relax or have fun in the sun ..

Hotel good but maintenance needed all over the hotel. Service good but improvements needed. Food average but don’t let this put you off. Entertainment good. All inclusive drinks (cocktails) need choice increasing but lots of local choice. Rooms for two not three very uncomfortable temp bed added to rooms all rooms the same all temp beds small and uncomfortable Matress. Good location. Staff friendly. More staff required in restaurant dinning experience felt rushed not a relaxed experience. Lucas from entertainment team well what a pleasure to have someone so confident funny and inviting getting you doing things you’d never see yourself doing but made things fun! All in all as long as you don’t pay big bucks this hotel is a reasonable standard but globally somewhat behind its competitors. But I would return!

First time in Caleta de Fuste and chose the hotel as it was away from the main strip area ( we don`t normally do English style resorts ) also near the airport for a quicker transfer. Hotel was very welcoming , friendly staff and room nice , beds super comfy ( i usually have problems with hotel beds but not here ) Had a nice sunny room on the fourth floor with pool & side sea view. We had no issues at all with towels or bedding as previous people have said but we don`t change our towels daily anyway . Kettle , cups , fridge and tea & coffee provided and topped up regularly. We were half board . Food was really good sooooo much choice every evening and at breakfast gluten free and dairy free milk options were readily available which was great . We only saw a few evening shows 2 ok ish acrobatic acts and although the singers were good they were not to our taste !!! Sweet caroline , abba etc etc :( We did sort of expect that as the hotel does cater for English package guests . Animation team good if you wanted to join in but not pushy at all , loud music at certain points in the day by the pool but easy to escape to the lovely beach at the bottom of the garden or quieter areas of the lovely hotel grounds Feed the fish and see the chipmunks by the beach. Sadly i had a cold / flu virus for the full 10 days of my holiday so didn`t use all the facilities to the full but we will definitely come back here again. ( even though there are lots of English guests !!!!!!!

This hotel was alright, but I would say it’s more like a 3 star hotel. Rooms were ok but tired, we arrived after dark and found it really difficult to find our rooms as the corridors, and room numbers outside the lifts were very dark. I felt that rooms were tired and like the majority of the hotel, needing a makeover. TV showed bbc1, bbc 2 and stv with another few English speaking channels. Some of the entertainment at night was fabulous, however you need to ditch the lip sync show, that was truly awful. Staff were great, food pretty average and sometimes not hot. Hotel is in a nice location, right on the beach and next door to Atlantico shopping centre. Free bus throughout the day but make sure you board the bus at Atlantico or you’ll be on a long route around the golf course. Some of the sun beds were past their best and sagging. You could do with placing chairs next to the loungers as not all people are able to get down onto the sun loungers. Also no waiters day or night coming round to take drink orders, residents had to queue at the bars at all times. Hotel doesn’t use cash at bars, you have to set up a tab at reception. I’ve been to much better 4 star properties. Met lots of other lovely guest, enjoyed ourselves but don’t think I’ll be back.

Not 4 star more like 2 star couldn't eat the food room very dated and not clean shower wasn't working and view from balcony was a bush bed not changed in all the time we were there wooden spoons to make your coffee or tea we would not go back to that hotel big disappointment
