Elba Carlota Beach & Golf Resort

Not 4 star more like 2 star couldn't eat the food room very dated and not clean shower wasn't working and view from balcony was a bush bed not changed in all the time we were there wooden spoons to make your coffee or tea we would not go back to that hotel big disappointment

Amazing hotel. We always book 4 star in the Canary Islands or Greece and this did not disappoint. Food was excellent, plenty of choice, fresh and tasty. The rooms were modern and well equipped with tea/coffee and toiletries. We loved the glass elevator with views of the inside garden. The grounds are stunning, well kept peaceful, on the beach. The evening entertainment was fantastic, not your usual all inclusive cheese. The singers were great but the big shows in the convention centre were like going to a big show at the theatre! The restaurant is understaffed and I hope management do help them out. The staff are friendly and work very hard. Some nights we had a wait but we didn't mind. The drinks choice really surprised us! Branded drinks on the all inclusive was a nice surprise, I loved the Ballentines whisky! The entertainment team (Dan, Marco, Jessica, Rosana) included us in the activities we chose to take part in, and we felt very welcome. We mingled well with French, Italian, Polish, Spanish! The shooting and archery were great fun. We used our all inclusive voucher for the on site itialian restaurant for 1 of our nights, this did not disappoint, what a treat! We loved the bar and lobby area it was very impressive, relaxing and fun with the bar staff. The town is not overly busy so was nice and relaxing. We attended the markets, local bars and the salt museum. 20min walk to town. We will absolutely return to this hotel. For context we are couple mid 30s, travelled with family, group of 5.

This was my 4th time at this hotel and it was again a great experience. Reception staff were fantastic as were the cleaners, bar staff and wait staff. Room was great, fantastic views and very clean, recommend getting a higher floor as I feel you can get a better view that way but that’s just personal taste. Facilities are good but could do with updating, also the hotel in both the restaurant and bar felt understaffed which is not the employees fault but definitely should be looked into. Food is great there’s something for everyone. I do think especially at dinner you should be shown to a table to help the waitstaff as well as it being a struggle to find a table. Animation team were fantastic, aqua gym was always fun and I enjoyed playing water polo. Overall a great experience and would recommend staying at. Will come back again to the hotel in the future.

Elba Carlota is a short transfer from the airport. It is set in its own beautiful gardens right next to a beautiful sandy beach. It has a variety of bars and 2 restaurants and plenty activities and shows if you want to get involved. The food is excellent and is constantly changed as it is buffet style with the head chef constantly checking quality and display. The all inclusive bars have a great selection of branded beers and spirits. The other main strength of the hotel is its staff! Nothing is too much trouble and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Special mentions to Paula in the pool bar, Williams in the lobby bar and Reynaldo and Antonio in the restaurant! The reception staff were excellent and were very helpful in sorting out problems that I had with my phone and organising a late check out for my flight home.

We are here now… This hotel is beautiful, it’s clean, the drinks are standard, the staff are lovely but… The food is dreadful!! I’m not a fussy eater the only thing I do not eat is mushrooms. But this has to be one of the worst hotels for food I’ve ever been too. If I’d have brought one of my kids he would have eaten pizza, bread and butter and nothing else. Can’t fault the breakfast! It’s brilliant. But the food is left out for ages and it’s stale, it’s old, it’s just not great I’d expect this food for 2 maybe 3 star not 4. My friend has a fish allergy and the signs don’t always match the food. My other friend is a veggie and there is bare minimum for her to eat! The pool is lovely, the music around the pool brilliant except the Christmas song it’s a bit early lol The beach is lovely and a nice walk to the shops. Entertainment is great for the kids.

We stayed here for a weeks holiday end of September. The hotel seems dated, there was no room with a beautiful view, ours was the back of a shopping mall looking at the staff car park! It took 2 days to request extra pillows after requesting these 4 times. We went there fully inclusive but ended eating out as there was nothing appropriate that we found appealing to eat, especially for myself being vegetarian. The vegetarian lasagna was just cheese and pasta no veg at all in it! The toilets in the hotel near the restaurant were awful, at least you could wash your hands but nowhere to dry them, the same for the toilets around the pool though this is to be expected. The toilets in your own room were perfectly fine. Door keys we had to keep taking back to get them activated, this was becoming a daily routine. Staff are very pleasant. There is no high speed internet as advertised, it was a task to sign into the WiFi and you were lucky if it worked and you stayed on! All in all I would not class this as a 4 star hotel and I would not stay here again.
