Hotel Arena Castillo - New Opening Sum 25!

Had an amazing stay here. All brand new. Very clean and spacious apartment with balcony overlooking the pool. Apartments cleaned daily. Cooking facilities for basic meals. Very quiet when we stayed as only just opened (but that suited us!). Close to supermarket and beach. Had an entertainment person by the pool most days but you could choose wether to participate or not. Friendly staff. We were able to use the left luggage and facilities after check out as our flight wasn't until the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful apartment/ hotel. Location is central to everything. Excellent facilities at the hotel. Beautiful pool and lots of loungers with umbrellas. Apartments are well equipped and cleaned everyday. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Entertainment around the pool, aqua fit and games are a real plus. Close to supermarket and shops. I highly recommend this hotel. I felt very safe as a solo traveller. It’s close to the airport.

Lovely hotel however , no evening entertainment or bar to sit and have a drink as stated on booking there was ! , no privacy on balcony , nowhere to put toiletries on bathroom . Breakfast choice is terrible , eggs were raw after explaining how to cook them, lady didn’t understand English when ordering off menu and was given the wrong breakfast 3 times! Work men in our room which we wasn’t told about or agreed for them to do it when we had valuables in our room. No where to shower when we have an evening flight .

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend. Highlights: • Alba is incredible – a true one-woman show! She remembers names, makes activities fun, and gets everyone involved. Daily games, stretching, aerobics, and chances to win cocktails added so much to our trip. • Rooms are spacious and well laid out – two showers/toilets, a good lounge/dining space, and a generous bedroom. • Spotlessly clean, stylish, and in a lovely location. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby, plus a short walk to the beach, promenade, shops, bars, and the Tuesday/Saturday market. • Staff were always helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Daily cleaning with fresh towels was much appreciated. • Food and bar prices are reasonable, with large portions (special mention to the club sandwich – 10/10). Things to be aware of: • Pool closes a little early (6pm) and is on the small side. It was perfect during our stay, but may feel crowded at full capacity. • Some renovation work still ongoing, with occasional noise and faint sewage smell – hopefully just temporary. The new rooftop bar and sports bar look like they’ll be great additions when finished. • Transfers booked via third parties take over an hour by coach, but taxis are only €17–20 for a 15-minute journey – much better option. • Limited safe plug socket access for kettles/toasters (often on the floor or inside cupboards). • Our ground floor pool-facing room was great, but back doors can’t be locked from outside. Key card locks here would be a useful upgrade. • Breakfast is a little overpriced compared to nearby cafés (€12 vs €5 for a full English). Tips: • The British & Irish supermarket nearby is cheaper for things like suncream. • Don’t miss the natural pool just a 6-minute walk away – stunning at low tide. Overall, a beautiful hotel in a great location with brilliant staff and entertainment. A few small improvements (pool size, sockets, back door locks) would make it perfect, but we had a fantastic time and look forward to seeing it once the renovations are complete.

Super nice and clean hotel , staff is very friendly and helpful . We’re looking forward to go back at Arena , one of the best experience in the last 5 years going to Fuertaventura . Thank you Arena hotel 👌

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing stay at the new Arena Castillo in Caleta! Rooms are modern, spacious, and spotless. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, and Albe (the entertainer) was fantastic — full of energy and made the holiday extra special. Couldn’t fault a thing, highly recommend!
