Emerald Hotel & Suites Calgary Airport recensioner

This hotel is in a great location of Calgary and just off the main thoroughfares. The staff are Absolutely amazing and go out their way to ensure you enjoy your stay at this hotel.

It was clean and nice the bed was comfortable and quiet place I feel so relax there

The room was not soundproof, and my neighbor was smoking ********* in the room! I woke up in the middle of the night and strongly requested to change rooms.

The elevator was not working at that time but they transfer us to the second floor as I am pregnant.

Everything was perfect

The hotel was under renovation so that may have affected things. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, they let me check in earlier than their 3pm check in time, but lets be honest, they weren't full and preventing people from checking in early when they have rooms free is just bad service. The hotel itself was underwelming, and everything was bare minimum effort. It smelled of cleaning solution and cigarettes, and has poor soundproofing. There was no water in the room and their vending machine was empty, so I had to walk to a nearby gas station to get something to drink. It is close to the airport and within a few blocks of restaurants, but this place has the feel of barely kept up motel. I guess this is what you get in this price range in Calgary.

Great stay.

The service was very bad, no cooperation at all. Washroom was stucked and no water for drinking available.

Was told we had to pay $300 deposit when we arrived, that I didn’t have- and were unable to stay. I need my money back!!! Nobody told me this. I’m NOT HAPPY!!

It's ok for a few nights. The room was a bit dusty and it smelled of cigarette smoke in the bathroom all the time. But I guess you get what you pay for, the price is reasonable. The staff are polite welcoming and willing to help. The place is a 5-minute walk from some restaurants, banks and the Sunridge mall.
