Apartamentos Callaomar

För att sätta våra kommentarer i ett sammanhang bör jag förklara att detta är den första utlandssemestern på över 30 år som vi inte har bott i privat boende, så vi undrade hur vi skulle klara oss med mindre utrymme, mer folk och en gemensam pool. Men vi behövde inte ha varit oroliga - det har varit fantastiskt!  Detta är en liten pärla av en plats och vi kände oss väldigt bekväma här. Som andra har sagt är ägaren Victor vänlig, hjälpsam och tillgänglig.  Hela anläggningen hålls skinande rena.  Den är i orörd skick. Det här är en lugn och fridfull plats där du kan koppla av.  Även om det finns 15 lägenheter är poolområdet inte alls överfullt. Poolen i sig är en bra storlek och har en behaglig temperatur. Vår lägenhet med 1 sovrum kändes rymlig med ett stort kök/matsal/vardagsrum.  Matlagningsmöjligheterna är helt tillräckliga. En ugn hade varit trevligt men vi klarade oss bra utan en. Det finns satellit-TV men med bara ett fåtal brittiska kanaler, så om du vill ha tillgång till ett bredare utbud av innehåll kan du överväga att ta med en enhet av typen Chromecast så att du kan se material från din telefon eller surfplatta på TV:n. Sovrummet är en bra storlek med tillräckligt med klädförvaring för 2 personer.  Det finns också ett värdeskåp av bra storlek i sovrummet.  I flera dagar under vår vistelse var det 30 grader ute, men kombinationen av främre och bakre balkonger i vår lägenhet på första våningen tillåter luft att strömma igenom och håller sovrummet på en rimlig temperatur under natten. Lägenheten städades regelbundet och skräp bortfördes (de flesta dagar tror jag). Det finns även underjordisk parkering tillgänglig. Vi kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka hit och funderar på att spendera ett par månader nästa vinter. Vi tvekar inte att rekommendera Callao Mar.

Great apartment so clean quiet and spacious would like to keep a secret a hidden gem. What can I say we loved it would use again and great communication with owner via email. Facilities great all what we needed just 10 mins from local beach and friendly resteraunt.

Very clean spacious apartments with all the essentials you need and a nice size pool. The towels were changed during the week we were there and the apartment was cleaned on at least 3 separate days with rubbish removed each time and beds made. The owner was friendly, helpful but discrete. We wanted a quiet self catering apartment, best suited for couples, a little bit away from the main tourist towns, a decent pool to swim in, with some restaurants and a decent supermarket nearby. That's exactly what we got at a very reasonable price. Recommended, we would be happy to return again some time.

Very peaceful place to stay. Self catering was easy. Microwave, toaster and hob. Apartment very clean and spacious. Pool warm and usually empty. Sun loungers never a problem. But note:- TUI coach could not go down narrow street so I was dropped off and pointed in right direction. There are several apartments in that road, Callamor Does not have signage outside so struggled to know which one it was. When I got there no one was about but I had read before that keys are left in an envelope for you, I didn’t realise the fob on the key ring was to get you into the pool. My apartment, 9 was on the first floor. As an older guest I did struggle to get up the 18 stairs. Lovely and quiet. Could do with DO NOT DISTURB sign as I was in the bathroom and thought I heard a bell ring, then the door opened. I was decent but it could have been worse. Wifi erratic so don’t rely on it. I had to link mine to another device. Easy to get around. 471 takes you straight into playa de las America and was only 2€.50. One thing, on departure I had to leave at 8.00 a.m, and when I went to exit the apartments for the first time the gate was locked. Luckily I had left my keys in the door so I could retrieve them, but I did think about leaving them in the room and I would have been trapped and missed transfer. Very reasonably priced and relaxing.

Beautiful area and very quiet. A little old fashioned but everything is clean and working in room. Pool was very cold which spoilt our holiday as do love a dip to cool off. It states pool/tennis table. Pool table is broken and no tennis table !!! Just a tad to far to local shops and is very hilly

The apartment was great and very spacious. It had all the basics you’d need for a short stay (though it would be great to also have a washing machine). Every apartment has a nice balcony and you can go straight down to the pool from there. The only thing I found weird is that I never saw anyone working at the reception and when I arrived there was just an envelope with keys inside left at the reception with my name and apartment number written on it. I found it strange since anyone from the street can walk in there.
