Days Inn by Wyndham Calvert City/Paducah East

This hotel needs a lot of renovations done to it. The appearance alone is that of being unkept. The internet is basically nonexistent.

Would not stay at this location again. Needs updated desperately and minor things taken care of that would not take to much time to do. Room was musty.

rooms are filthy and covered in spider webs floors are not cleaned beds are not cleaned just disgusting . They shouldn’t still be open . This place is completely horrible and staff sit backs and makes excuses for it

The building was rundown and the bathrooms were filthy. The pillows were horrible too. Each bed had 3 pillows and we each used all three stacked on top of each other, only then did the pillow feel like a normal pillow.

Had we known it was part of Wyndham we would never have stayed there. We want nothing to do with Wyndham and found we are much happier spending our money with a hotel or motel that is connected to Choice

Hotel has been renovated but the bathroom tub was repaired with epoxy paint and no anti slip was installed. I slipped and fell backwards out of the tub. Although I was lucky my back is bruised. Asked for a manager but none was on duty. Barely received an apology from the front desk clerk. I made her make note of situation but she said she would just pass on verbal message to owners. I would not stay here again unless a manager can resolve the issue.

I booked a room on March 16th. There was a fishing tournament that Saturday which my grandson was attending. That afternoon, they decided to cancel the tournament due to weather conditions. It hadn't been 45 minutes when they cancelled the event. I called as soon as I received this news to cancel my reservation. ********** sent me an email confirming the cancellation. The email also read that Days Inn by Wyndham Calvert City would be responsible for the refund. I called and spoke with a gentlemen from Days Inn to confirm the refund right after I received the email. He told me it might take 3 to 4 weeks before I received the refund. Today I spoke with the desk manager. I asked her if she could look my information up in her records? She told me that they were not responsible for the refund, the 3rd party Expendia.com was. Expendia wasn't even involved, ********* was. Are they the same company? She kept telling me I needed to get refund from Expendia.com. Where did she get this information? Bottom line, their policy states that cancellations had to be made at a certain time. I was 45 minutes past that cut off time. I called the same day reservation was made, on the 16th. Money wasn't deducted until the 20th. I see how they stay opened. By crying, "This isn't my responsibility even though we took your money." Even though I didn't have the pleasure of staying with the hotel. I hope the money taken from a 65 year old retired grandmother, who is raising both of her grandsons, 12 and 9 years old, is enjoyed by those who took it. I was trying to make sure my grandson got to do what he enjoys most, fish with his school bass team. I am sure there are many out there who feel me. One hundred dollars might not be much to some, but those on fixed incomes, it means a lot. Thing is, it wouldn't have been half as bad if the manager even put forth an effort to help me out. She had authority and didn't hesitate to let me know she had the control. I was the puppet. Suck it up and live with it. I hope they enjoy that $93.95. Apparently they needed it more than I did. Glad I could help. Don't stay. They do not respect the people who make it possible for them to get a paycheck. This world is doomed because of others greed. If the manager responds be sure it will be kind and polite. Don't buy it, it isn't real.

Better than expected!!! Also American owned and operated!!! Rooms were very clean, with beautiful bedspreads. Two minor complaints; one the bathroom was so tiny you could not hardly get in to use the toilet without standing in the tub to close the door, two breakfast was very limited a few dry cereal choices, a few pastry choices, toast, apples, coffee and two juice choices.

Checked In and ask for a non-smoking / non-pet room. Room was not only musty, but smelled of smoke and not sure what else. Clerk assigned new room all most to quickly. 2nd room was breathable but there was a large dark stain in front of the door. The carpet was soiled, and my wife didn't want to go in. I went into the bathroom and a large roach ran across my foot, picked him up and delivered to front desk. Politely told him room was already taken and wished a refund as we were not trying a third room. ( who knows what could be behind door number 3 ) I was quickly told no refunds-- if I take the key I have to pay. Worst Motel experience I have ever encountered.
