Quinta da Saraiva

Beautiful facility with the nicest and most helpful staff. We got a room with a balcony facing the swimming pool. The room has such a nice decor and we felt that it was roomy with 2 balconies. Breakfast was a highlight of everyday. We enjoyed the great variety of food and it was also great eating by the swimming pool. Don’t forget to ask for a tour of their facility and spend sometime with their residence goats and cat. Nelly our housekeeper was the sweetest as well as the ladies at the front desk. Wonderful boutique hotel. I miss it dearly.

We recently stayed at Quinta da Saraiva during our visit in Madeira, and it surpassed all our expectations. The exceptional service, stunning views, and delicious breakfast made our experience truly unforgettable. The hotel's service was impeccable. From the warm check-in to the attentive staff throughout our stay, we felt welcomed and valued. The location of Quinta da Saraiva offered breathtaking views of Camaro de Lobos, especially the beautiful view at sunset. It is possible also to relax in the pool or jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good, made with country eggs straight from the hotel farm Overall hotel was elegant with a traditional accent. We certainly appreciated peace and quiet. The rooms are very cozy with sunset balconies We highly recommend Quinta da Saraiva if you are looking for a rest in peace and quiet combined with perfect view and good standard hotel ☺️

The place feels like home. For us, this was the perfect accommodation in Madeira. It's close to the airport and all Madeira sights for an active vacation, but if you just want a quiet, intimate vacation, this is the most perfect location. The breakfast was amazing, and it was served outside, so we ate with the great view of the ocean and the hills. The breakfast was very complete, with selection of fresh breads served on a platter every day accompanied by fresh fruits, cheeses, little sweets, or eggs made in different way and coffee, or tea. Very clean, with all you need for a good stay: fresh towels, towels for using by the pool, toiletries, daily cleaning. They provided a hairdryer which I appreciated. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. The staff is very friendly, kind, wonderfully helpful and professional. They organised a rental car at short notice and our dophin watching trip before we arrived.

Stayed at the Quinta for one week in May and was more than happy. The room had two balconies which both had outstanding views and a large extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast fab with a selection of breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, juices and cooked mushrooms, bacon and eggs if required. They went out of their way to accommodate us with our request for tea and coffee in the room, but it really is the view which is breath taking, to watch the valley light up in the evenings is something to experience. It was too chilly to use the pool, but I can imagine it is very inviting in the warmer weather and access to the VR1 to explore the island is a breeze. Great places to eat in walking distance including O Pasto and O Polar and of course Camara de Lobos (with quaint harbour restaurants but also two particularly good places to have cake and coffee near the church).
