We loved this hotel and can’t wait to go back. Fascinating old building but the rooms have been beautifully renovated. Breakfast was amazing in a lovely dining room overlooking the garden. Great wines to drink in the bar. All in all it was a fabulous stop.

A most friendly atmosphere. Big room cosy dining.. Very good food. English speaking staff who helped us a lot when our car was at a mechanic shop. All the staff were very helpfull to us and our child.

Excellent place to stay, especially if visiting the Cambrai Tank. Your host is one of the foremost experts. Fine service and food, a good selection of wines. Within walking distance of the town centre and all its amenities. Reasonably priced.

Easy to find, easy parking, pretty entrance and friendly and helpful staff (and speak English). Simple evening meal ( but the panacotta would feed four!) and good breakfast. We can certainly recommend this hotel.

There are just not enough superlatives to describe this wonderful oasis. Our hosts, Phillipe and Sandrine, together with Max, our receptionist,(impromptu tour guide, and all-round nice guy), were warm, welcoming, personable and friendly. Our 'suite' was an absolute delight! Clearly recently renovated, we could easily have spent an entire week simply relaxing on either of the terraces outside our room, or the dining room. The bar has its own, relaxing lounge. This hotel is a gem. Can't wait to return Hopefully in the autumn.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. This was our 1st stop of our holiday about 1.5 hours drive from Calais. In a great location with its own car parking. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens. Philippe and team are just amazing, nothing is too much trouble. Bedroom was a decent size clean and very comfortable, ours had double doors overlooking the garden. Breakfast was just perfect exactly what we wanted from a French breakfast. We will return.

I can highly recommend this hotel, easy parking, great communication prior to our stay, felt like an oasis of calm after a long drive. Our room was amazing, far exceeded our expectations, felt more like a four or five star with the fittings and comforts included. The hotel garden is lovely too. Will definitely return to this lovely hotel. Didn't realise Cambrai has such war time historical significance, very interesting.

A very charming hotel, quite close to the town centre, but peaceful and relaxing. The owner went far beyond “normal” service to make us welcome, make sure we were comfortable, and as it was Sunday, arranged a visit to a nice local restaurant for us. To end an enjoyable stay we had a very comprehensive (huge) breakfast to see us on our journey. Thoroughly recommend.

We liked everything about this beautiful hotel, welcomed by the owner, a charming man who is passionate about his hotel, a high quality welcome, a comfortable room and a practical bathroom, all on a wooded park maintained to perfection, the breakfast was excellent, it was perfect
