Novotel Cambridge North

We came up to Cambridge for my Husband‘s birthday myself and our five month old baby. The hotel was conveniently next to Cambridge. North which  was great and had great transportation links into Cambridge. I did ask for a little birthday treat from my husband the day of arrival and i  had called earlier to confirm but sadly when we arrived this wasn’t done when I did flag they apologise and gave us a voucher for drinks which was okay overall it was a good time. Good location the bedroom the bed could’ve been a bit bigger. I’ve stayed in other Novotel hotels where a queen size bed is actually a queen size bed.

It was our second time being here. Tbh due to bank holiday so there were a lot more travellers staying here- more people in the pool and gym and there was no bath robes so we needed to ask for it. Not to mention long queue during checking in and every time we wanted to visit pool. Other than that it was a great stay.

Good location, next to the train station. It's very neat and clean. The swimming pool is warm.

Minimalist and Comfortable Guest Room Design: Streamlined Artistic Headboard Wall—The room's most striking feature is the headboard wall, which utilizes wallpaper in shades of gray featuring fluid lines and imagery reminiscent of tree rings, adding dynamic visual interest to the clean space. Abundant Natural Light—Large floor-to-ceiling windows, paired with dual-layered beige and gray curtains that drape vertically, balance natural illumination with privacy control.

Very nice Accor Live Limited Hotel. Clean, modern and great location next to the train station. Would definitely stay again to explore Cambridge!

Was very convenient, situated near Cambridge North station. Hotel is clean and new with AC

Amenities are very minimum and any additional will cost money 6 pounds each, shower fill or is very slippery.

The stay was amazing and surprisingly quiet despite it being right to the railway station. The pool was a bit too cold for my liking.

Stayed at Novotel Cambridge North recently and had a really solid experience overall. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The facilities were impressively clean, especially the swimming pool and sauna - both well maintained and relaxing to use. Breakfast was more than sufficient, with a great standard full English buffet that was always topped up quickly, so nothing ever felt picked over. Location-wise, it’s just a 4-minute walk from Cambridge North train station, which makes getting in and out incredibly easy. The connections are excellent, and having a Co-op right opposite is really convenient - especially since the hotel itself is a bit removed from other shops and amenities. Overall, a comfortable and well-run stay, particularly if you’re travelling by train or need a quieter base just outside the city.
