Hilton Cambridge City Centre recensioner

During our check in, we were not adviced about any of the amenities of the hotel, about the city or even the timing of check out… We were a family of 3, where 2 of them has more than 76 years.  The room was prepared only for receiving 2 petiole when we have paid for 3. We have called indicating that and they have solved the situation.  However, even with the knowledge with the ages of the guests, we were place in a room sharing a wall with a room of young people that decided to have a party since 1 am until 4am. We have call the reception at 3am but it continued. Of course, impossible to sleep!  Really bad experience….

The location is perfect for walking to the centre, the reception can provide the basic stuff for us when we check in for example toothbrush, shaver set, etc, so we did not need to ask after entering the room

Good location, good cleanliness and facility

The hotel's location is excellent. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged for an early check-in, allowing me to store my luggage in my room and promptly begin my exploration of Cambridge.

Location is superb! Room was clean and spacious, breakfast and in room dining were amazing

Great place in center of university district

Unfortunately not the best experience of the Hilton Cambridge, the first room we where given had clearly not been made or cleaned with a bed slept in, dirty coffee cups and an unclean bathroom. Staff where quick to address the issue and give us a new room however upon entering the 2nd it was set up for I’m assuming the original proposed occupiers birthday, not the worst thing in the world however another thing for to address within the first 30 minutes of being at the hotel. In the evening we returned relatively late around 1am to then be asked if we where lost and if we had a room at the hotel, to which i presented a room key which apparently wasn’t satisfactory enough to show that we where indeed guests, I’m not sure why I then had to give my exact room number and name to provide comprehensive proof of our booking. Surely if this is an issue in the past of non guests trying to use hotel facilities then all guests should be providing their details upon returning??? This combined with the issues upon arrival was frustrating, and frankly insulting, why this was humorous to the night staff I’m not sure but all in all a massive disappointment.

The location is excellent which is at the city centre. The Grand shopping arcade is next to the hotel. Very convenient to the travelers. The hotel is at the city centre which walk 10 minutes can reach most of the important sites. However, the hotel forget to arrange housekeeping for my two rooms for one night. When I come back to hotel after whole day visit, I was surprise by the untidy room. I tried to call house keeping but the line is busy. I go down to the concierge but they could not help. They just said to make sure housekeeping will be arranged tomorrow. I was so disappointed. Moreover, I have requested laundry services on two consecutive night. The concierge said that both laundry can return to me after two day in one go. After two days, I asked the hotel to give back my laundry. They can only give back one pack of laundry. After my repeated complaint, they finally find out my second pack of laundry bag. Their service is quite disappointing.

The room is very clean and food is very 👍. At least the air conditioning is working well
