I booked this B&B for my parents to stay in while they were visiting me because it seemed good and it was near the train station. In other circumstances I would give it an average rating. There were a couple issues during my parents stay, that I was not there for, and all of which were settled independently of me. However, after my parents' stay -- after they had paid and left the establishment -- the owner of the bed and breakfast called me and harangued me about these issues. When I asked why she was calling the daughter of a customer to complain about them, she told me the only purpose of the call was to tell me that she was, "extremely disappointed in my parents' stay." It is completely and irrevocably unprofessional to call the daughter of a customer to complain about that customer. I only wonder in what other unprofessional ways she runs her business.

We turned up at this hotel without a booking (my fault entirely). We called the guest house and Inga without hesitation booked us into her last remaining double room. The room was well presented with lovely linen, clean and a small but perfect shower room. There was everything you should need in the room. We met Inga in the morning and she was charming. It’s a 20 min flat walk to the city with lots of places to eat and drink on the way. We went to the six bells pub a short walk from the guest house which is well worth a visit. Thank you Inga for a fabulous stay.

Check in schedule between 14-18 pm we arrived at 13.50 and from Teninson tower where we supposed to stay they send us with a poor message attached on the door , “for check in or any enquirers go to A &B guest house “ ... okay , we went there , and nobody was there to greeting us! We waited more than 40 mins , I have called the lady from the hotel many times

a new property for us. location was good as literally a few minutes from train station. Check in is a little complicated and self service.no staff on premises.room was compact but with all amnenities we needed. bathroom /shower very small.was all ok until we wet to bed and discovered beds are v small and very soft. was woken at 5 am by very loud conversations from other guests as walls are clearly very thin.resulted in a not great nights sleep, so this would put us off returning tbh

Exceptional service from the staff at Friendly courteous and always willing to help. Made our stay truly enjoyable. Comfortable rooms, great location. Excellent value for money. Co-operative staff. Highly recommended probably best in Cambridge
