Hotel Best Cambrils

everything from the staff to the hotel, food pool and location was amazing! Definitely rent bicycles to get around and go for a cycle the scenery was amazing and so close to everything!! The staff were so helpful with transport to and from the airport which made it so relaxing would definitely return

We arrived on the 21st Sept for 2 weeks just missing the bad weather they had just had. Check in was quick, room was small but adequate. Located at the back and was a bit noisy from the kitchen and bin area but the view of the beach was good. Jet2 advertised 3 pools but we only saw one. Sunbeds quite close together but the self service bar was good. The food times were good. Always a good selection of food. The all inclusive bar in the dining room was great as we could get a bottle of water and wine with our lunch and dinner if we wanted. The location is misleading as the hotel is really between Cambrils and Salou but easy to get to both by bus which stopped outside. Cheap to travel, there is a bus office across the road to buy a bus card or book trips. Only cash or bus card on the buses. Little shops about or a 23 min walk to a big Mercadona and a Tabac. Entertainment in the evening was a bit naff though. Housekeeping were good. Our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels supplied. There was 2 bottles of water in the fridge and a pepsi and fizzy orange which were topped up once. Sadly there wasn't any tea making facilities in the room. The only thing we weren't too keen on was breakfast was until 10am but the lady in the restaurant insisted on cleaning the coffee machines at 9.50am and turning them off and if you tried to use them she wasn't happy We had a relaxed 2 weeks with a few trips in between.

Just returned from a 4 day stay. On the plus side, the hotel is spotless, room comfortable, we stayed on the 1st floor overlooking pool. Serviced every day with fresh towels. Also bar prices very reasonable for a hotel. Reception staff helpful. Younger girl and older gentleman at the bar, service always with a smile and very pleasant. However, the lady at the pool bar, who works very hard, should be given lessons in customer service, a smile can go a long way, and I felt she favoured the Spanish guests more. Negatives, the dining room, a canteen environment, exceptionally busy, food luke warm, but microwaves available to heat food. Not sure how this would operate during the height of the season. I would imagine it could be a bit of a nightmare. The childrens club started at 9 pm, I felt it was too late for little ones and was exceptionally loud. The dining experience was not for me, but in fairness, the fussiest of eaters would find something suitable from the buffet. Cambrils is a quiet resort, and not much to do there, but Tarragona is worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel food was great rooms lovley and cleaned everyday 1 big thing that spoilt the stay is how rude some members of staff are the women at pool bar was so rude the life guard always on his phone and very rude and few restraunt staff are rude shame as they let such a beautiful hotel down they need customer service training we stayed 1st floor wirh a great view we did half board food was good and lots of choice no music round the pool witch is a shame

It was pretty okay The room was clean but bed wasn't really comfortable, bathroom a little bit used, small window and kind of dark inside. The pool area - big minus - no umbrellas, neither small tables next to the sunbeds. Food - I only had breakfast, it was decent, nothing special, just regular breakfast. The beach nearby was beatiful and calm. The big advantage is bus stop next to the hotel, you can go to Barcelona or Port Aventura.

Just back from a 4 day trip B&B with a friend. We had a room each both identical. Large rooms with 2 double beds, both clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and both had pool and sea view. Staff were friendly and efficient. The pool was lovely and there was plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and it was fresh and warm. Coffee machines were good but we needed 3 cups each to equate to 1 decent sized cup of coffee. There was evening entertainment but we didn't go to it. Lots of places to eat near by and your not to far from Salou there are busses but we walked along the sea front to get there. I would absolutely stay here again. The air con... it does work, but your patio door needs to be closed with the handle down and you need to turn the dial until you hear a clicking noise and that's it on. No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room but there was a hair dryer and toiletries in tbe bathroom. Water pressure from the shower was fantastic!
