Estival Centurión Playa

Bel hôtel propre Ils nous ont donné deux lits dommage et la vue n’était celle qu’on voulait

This was our second time staying at this hotel and once again we had a great holiday. We emailed the hotel and asked for connecting rooms and were delighted they had granted our wish. As a bonus our rooms were ready on our arrival. The location of this hotel is great, right on the beach and between Cambrils and Salou. You can walk or catch a bus easily to both destinations. Bus stops literally opposite front of hotel. If using the bus a lot, buy a bus card and add bus trips onto it. Works out cheaper. Tarragona is the nearest large city and is well worth a trip, easily got to by local bus. There are Roman ruins, old town, market etc there. Cambrils is nice, lovely harbour, nice vibe to it, Salou is a bit livelier. The beach opposite the hotel is lovely, clean, and safe. You can hire beds and brollies etc. There are supermarkets minutes from the hotel for basics, bread, beer etc. Some nice Spanish restaurants are nearby as well. The hotel pool is relatively small but nice, they don't open it till 08.30 so towel blocking is something that can't really be done though I would suggest if you want a certain spot then be there at 08.30. We stayed bed and breakfast and had no complaints with regards breakfast, there was something for everyone and all very tasty and hot. Rooms are fine, free safe, kettle, fridge ( it takes a bit to cool but does eventually). Air con much needed as hit 40° when we were there. All staff were great and I must mention the young lady who sorted a car out for us to use on Friday 15th August ( sorry I didn't catch her name ) she was always incredibly helpful and I think we would of found it hard to get a car without her help. We drove up to Gandessa to see the Civil War Museum and deserted village. The bar staff were friendly, and we didn't mind that they turned Wolves over to watch Barcelona ( lol ). On the whole we would definitely return to this hotel. Another really nice stay.

Well… here we are at the last day of our stay at this marvellous hotel! First of all, friendly staff at the reception, in the breakfast/lunch and dinner area. I will remember Vanessa who was always smiling when taking an order or even when setting a table… The buffet was one of the most extended that I’ve ever seen. Each evening there is a theme going from sushi to cheese and salami. Of course there are every day different meat and fish varieties, a salad bar and dessert buffet. The room was very spacious but more important very clean! Congratulations to the cleaning staff members!

Estival Centurion Playa is a lovely hotel situated in between Cambrils and Salou with direct access to a long sandy beach and promenade. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Rooms are a little on the small side, beds and pillows comfortable. Kettle provided but no tea/coffee. Housekeeping with towel change daily if required. In room toiletries provided. We were half board and found the variety and quality of food to be of a high standard. There was a different theme every night in the main restaurant. Food was well presented and hot. Drinks in the bar were very reasonable. Pool area was well maintained and the pool was professionally cleaned each night. The only negative comment would be that there were not enough sun loungers around the pool area to cater for the number of guests in the hotel. Plenty of shaded areas around the pool area to relax. We hired bicycles from the hotel and cycled along the cycle path to Salou and Cambrils which we would definitely recommend.

6th stay at Estival Centurion Playa. We stayed in a junior suite with sea and pool view. This room is spacious and Ximena kept our room spotless. Reception staff always friendly also the restaurant staff who recognised us grested us with smiles and a hug. Food excellent as always, we go half board. Plenty of choice to suit all pallets and. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and it was a lovely surprise to find a bottle of Cava on ice along with happy birthday card from Estival Centurion.on our return to our room after a day out. I felt so special. Thank you so much everyone, it made my birthday special.

We loved this hotel so much, our room was clean and fully stocked with enough hangers, mugs and glasses, teas and coffees, mini fridge, and a safe. The lovely housekeeping team kept our room nice and clean! We had really positive experiences with the reception team throughout our stay, and we felt very looked after. We had a half board holiday, and both breakfast and dinner were great! There were many options to choose from during both. We loved using the spa, and the swimming pool was utterly beautiful! The hotel is right on the beachfront too… perfection! We would love to stay here again!
