Es Revellar Art Resort - Adults Only

This is a lovely hotel. The setting is very peaceful and the grounds are absolutely lovely. It is like being based in a park/ botanical garden. We slept so well - not least because of the peace and quiet, but also the biggest, comfiest bed ever! Breakfasts were lovely, sat on the outside terrace area. We only dined in once in the evening which was very pleasant and the complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The only 'grumble' we had was that we felt the waiting on staff weren't always on top of their game (eg. not clearing plates away when finished with/ topping up breakfast buffet promptly). We would definitely stay again, but it's worth noting that you definitely need a car if staying here as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We liked this as we didn't want to stay somewhere touristy, but it is something to be aware of. Special shout out to Alvaro on reception who was very helpful in giving us recommendations for places to visit.

We very much enjoyed our week at this very special art hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Maria was particularly kind and friendly. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the artwork was impressive, The chef is amazing! We loved the delicious menus which were excellent value and changed daily. It’s a perfect place to relax and visit local markets, nearby beaches and Palma.

This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my life! The experience is similar to sleeping in a museum room, the facilities are superb, the grounds are well looked after, the staff members are an absolute gem! Also, close to Campos and Santanyí which have great restaurants and shops. Couldn't recommend this place more! Special thanks to Alvaro, who treated us with care and attention! I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

A totally unique experience, Es Revellar Art Resort exceeded my expectations. I was upgraded to the amazing 'tower' and provided with wonderful customer service. It really is an oasis in the countryside, a perfect place for a lone traveller to unwind, reflect and soak up the surrounding beauty. It felt like staying in the garden of a museum, with statues, fountains, ponds, modern and classic art, or a retreat, with a limted amount of guests and locally produced food. Truly breathtaking. I will definalty return. A special thank you to Alvaro :-)

There must be 200 plus pieces of art in the art garden and it was a treat to walk round them. We also saw frogs and dragon flies and wonderful trees and birds. We also enjoyed the taster menu and the lovely service. This experience would be much better though if: The grounds were tidy The lakes weren’t covered in dirt and green algae We had been told that we’d have to get through a locked gate The restaurant and reception staff had known what restaurant experience we were booked on to so that I didn’t have to faff with my phone for 15 minutes trying to find it with a poor signal. We had been told that the door wouldn’t (as is usually the case) open on the way out The offer hadn’t told us we had to take passports or other ID which weren’t then asked for. In summary, it was a magical, whimsical, disorganised, quite untidy experience. We enjoyed it though.

We stayed last week for 4 nights. Our sat nav took us into Campos, and as it was directing us straight on, i spotted a yellow sign for the hotel, so we followed that instead. Just as we were thinking of turning around 'because it cant be right out here', there the hotel was, literally like an oasis. What a beautiful place. Alvaro very kindly upgraded us to the Villa, and it was perfect. This and the connecting room would be great for a group of 4. We had an upstairs terrace, and there was also a covered seating area. The villa smelt amazing too. Staff are all excellent, especially the aforementioned Alvaro, and we also took a shine to the young waiter at the pool, who was trying so very hard. Warning - food by the pool comes in huge portions. We arrived about 3.30 and decided to have a large lunch rather than go out at night, so we had 2 portions of fries, 2 portions of croquettes and a salad. 1 portion of fries - dinner plate size. 1 portion of croquettes - 8 or 10 on a dinner plate! All were lovely though. We took half the croquettes back to the villa and ate them with a bottle of wine on the terrace. The starters in the restaurant were similar sizes - 8 croquettes for him, 6 tempura prawns for me! One night we had steak, which was nice, but just that and a potato ?! But still too full for a pud. The grounds are lovely . The pool area - for 3 days it was just us there, all day. My idea of heaven. I arrived stressed and tired, and left relaxed and refreshed. I think if you are a lone traveller who doesn't mind being alone, this might be perfect for you. It's very calming, and most of the time we didnt even see anyone else. Polite hellos at breakfast with our fellow guests, and we had a lovely chat with a family who were having a drink one night, but apart from that youre left alone. My husband did the art tour, and said it was fantastic. Highly recommended!
