Son Bauló

This was my family's first holiday abroad and it did not disappoint. Location is just far away its not in the centre of can picafort about 15min walk along the seafront. We where staying at the back of the hotel overlooking the street & it was busy with coaches coming in and out all night but the room itself was clean & had everything we needed (no air-conditioning). The food was nice enough plenty to choose from. Staff are all polite & friendly. The hotel is clean & tidy in all areas. Entertainment was available every night we stayed. We'd definitely consider staying again but would request a room on the beach/pool side of the hotel.

The hotel is in a good location with direct access to the beach, that’s our only positive. We travel a lot and booked this as part of a cruise and stay with TUI, felt it was ideal as it was 3+ star and was only for 4 nights. On arrival we were instantly shocked at how different the place looked and felt compared to the pictures advertised. We had a street view room x2 on 3 floor and they were awful. In need of an uplift and deep clean as per pictures. The noise was awful, constant hearing of foot steps and furniture moving, beds creaky and uncomfortable. Our beds were not even changed at all during our stay. We wanted to upgrade but this was not possible as supposedly full. It was awful and not to our taste. We were pleased that we only had to stay for 4 nights. Food was not the best either. Pool area was dirty as were sunbeds. You’ll see the scum on the poolside which was really unpleasant. Parasols were rusty and full of cobwebs. Doors in bathrooms warped, timescale and rust on taps. I’d not want to recommend anyone stay here.

The hotel get clean very day with change bedding and towels everyday. Food lovely and a variety to choose from. Entertainment brilliant every night a games of bingo too very night, Swimming pool big and the hotel is very close to the beach and shops x

Been there 5 times in a row. The hotel is in an ideal spot for our needs. Everything better than previous visits, general decor updated and well mantained. Staff is really friendly and the food excellent. The breakfast was simply outstanding, offering a greay variety and quality. The hotel is very clean. Had a sea view room this time which was lovely, but no afternoon on balcony. My stays have always been enjoyable. Only gripe this time was the transfer as we had to wait for other flights to arrive.

Highly recommend staying at the hotel. The rooms are spotless and the air conditioning is a dream especially as it was very hot this last week. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home and the entertainment was brilliant especially the comedian. David the man in charge of the entertainment was really great and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The food at the hotel is absolutely wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed trying new dishes as well as ones we are use too. You get a great choice of things to eat both at breakfast and dinner and the taste is amazing. The hotels in a great location with the sea just a few steps away and only a 20 minute walk into the main town. I really recommend staying here and we will definitely come back.

We were made to feel completely unwelcome. There were clear racial undertones in the way we were treated, making our stay deeply uncomfortable. Truth be told we couldn't wait to leave. Rude and dismissive staff, unpleasant glares from guests. I asked if tea and coffee was available in our room. As I left, overheard the staff member say "they expect everything for free". Food was inedible, quality and hygiene were rock bottom, breakfast was like a cattle market with complimentary flies and they charged extra for orange juice. We ate at the hotel once during our stay, even though we were half board. We paid local hotels to use their facilities for the duration of our stay, it was that bad. Not what you would expect from a TUI holiday. It's a two star hotel at best. There's a general feeling of neglect about the place, expect outdated furniture, broken aircon, no toiletries and a weird odour coming from the bathroom every morning. The only thing this place has going for it is the beach. If you value respect, cleanliness and basic hospitality, stay far away.
