Zafiro Alzinar Mar Adults Only - Refurbished 2025

So we visited Alzinar Mar last year before all the improvements and we are so glad we came this year. Because the changes are just lovely. Just make sure you check out the hotels main website as some holiday providers have really old photos that don’t do the hotel justice. The rooms are now definitely 4 star, even the standard rooms, with modern styled decor and the new dressing area is a treat. The new rooms with dip pools and swimming pools look fantastic. Food was really good last year and even better this year. Really enjoyed the different themed nights especially the sea food. Staff are brilliant and very helpful. The hotel is situated at the back of the main town looking out to fields and countryside, this we find is good because you are away from all the hustle and bustle if you want but close enough to walk to the beach and town. There is also a local supermarket right next to the hotel which is really handy. We went for a good relaxing holiday and we definitely got what we wanted.

Just returned from a fabulous week. Hotel fabulous. Room was outstanding. We had a junior suite with plunge pool on the balcony. A real treat. Only a couple of suggestions for improvement, replenish a bottle of water and Milk when room cleaned. A lighter menu choice for lunch...otherwise 5*

Check in was very quick and informative . The room (2210) had plenty of storage for the both of us and was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep and the bathroom had a great shower that never lost Pressure or Temperature Food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner was of a good standard varied and tasty but the food from the menu at Sage & Olive at lunchtime was my favourite. Drinks at all the Bars whether it be alcohol or coffee where very good and if you liked it a specific way the bar staff would make it and remember the next time you asked for it. Pool was great with plenty of sunbeds and very relaxing even though the hotel was full, The grounds are well maintained and spotless. Evening entertainment was good and we enjoyed the background music around the pool but the Bingo was just a tad slow for us Staff throughout the hotel where friendly, informative and very hard working but a special mention must go to Caesar who helped make our stay great. This was our 3rd stay at a Zafiro Hotel and I must say that we really like this hotel chain. If I could have changed one thing on this stay I would book a taxi rather than shared transport from the airport. Again a great stay, Thank You.

A great choice for people looking for a relaxing child free break. Staff were excellent, very helpful and efficient in all areas of the hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean, great housekeeping service. The pool area was also clean and well maintained. We decided to go bed and breakfast rather than all inclusive as we wanted to try local restaurants. This worked well for us as a great variety of restaurants available only 10 or 15 minutes walk away. The breakfasts we had in the hotel were lovely, everything we could possibly want, so much choice. After breakfast three was plenty of space to relax by the pool. Each day there was some water aerobics and fitness available if wished. We very much enjoyed staying and also went on excursions such as a lovely boat trip, and enjoyed the short walk to the beach where we had fun swimming. Highly recommended this hotel to my friends and we also hope to return.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Check in was super quick and smooth. The hotel itself is clean and the photos advertised are a true reflection. Myself and my partner had a lovely holiday and were overall really pleased with our stay. However I do just want to mention an incident that occurred on our first day by the pool. The water sports entertainment lady approached myself to ask if I wanted to jump on a bike in front of everybody sunbathing and demonstrate how to use it for her session. As I’m an anxious person and personally just wanted to sit back and relax, without drawing any attention to myself , I politely said no thank you. She then proceeded to ask me another 3 times… each time I politely said no thank you with a smile. I thought this was abit much and made me feel uncomfortable however I understood she was doing her job and trying to get a volunteer. I went back to what I was doing and carried on enjoying my day by the pool. I then glanced across to see the lady speaking about me in a very obvious manner to her employee…pointing at me saying “she didn’t want to” and tutting and shaking her head. I really didn’t appreciate this and don’t think it’s right for a guest to feel this way for simply not wanting to take part in something that would’ve made me anxious and uncomfortable. I felt as though I was being mocked and put me in abit of a upset mood on our first day. However, with that being said… this did not happen again thankfully. I do hope that entertainment staff are briefed on not being too pushy for people to join in and should be more considerate as to why people may not want to join in. If it wasn’t for this incident, this would had been a flawless holiday.

This is the 4th time over the last two years we have been to this hotel and it will take a lot to beat. I cant rate it enough, The place is immaculate, the upgrade of the hotel is really great with a private pool. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you, always smiling and happy in their work. for an all inclusive hotel the food is totally totally amazing, there is something for everyone. The rooms are spacious, there is also tea/coffee and kettle in room. Nightly entertainment is good, Being adults only is a definite bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back a couple of times again next year.
