Just two days, but we had a very nice stay. Rooms are large and very clean (including kitchenware) and comfortable. Great shower. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Nice infrastructure and surroundings, including pool and playing grounds as well as fields with plants and sheep. Overall, relatively quiet, although much depending on other guests (several families with kids of all ages), also due to pretty thin walls and outdoor activities.

We were welcomed by our friendly hostess who showed us to our apartment, walking past the beautiful pool area. A modern sitting area with kitchenette led through to the bathroom and bedroom. Electronic blinds afforded dark, quiet nights, and good linen and large towels were appreciated. Breakfast was served in the cafe/reception area or could be enjoyed on our private patio. Plentiful breads, croissants, ham, cheese and eggs were freshly made. The property has a small menu for lunch/dinner but we ate out in Evora. There are bikes or their electric buggy for hire, walking trails to follow and a beautiful massage area under trees on the estate. Recommended.

It is not often that an accommodation/resort lives up to the posted photographs and description, but in this instance it was surprisingly so. It is a restful oasis situated close to the beautiful and historical town of Evora. Each accommodation is modern and air conditioned with a fully equipped kitchenette. We chose to breakfast and dine at the property and were surprised by the choice of menu and the range of regional wines on offer. A three course evening meal is priced at just EUR 20. The young couple: Gonzalo and Maria were charming hosts. Gonzalo is not only the chef but also able to advise you on the wines of the various regions in Portugal. A wide range of wines are offered at very reasonable prices. In fact, local wine houses sponsor this recently opened property. There was never any rush. Just allow yourself to sit back at the lovely pool or on your private terrace and take life at a slower pace. I would advise anyone to visit.

The hotel itself is set in beautiful surroundings with new modern furnishings. Staff were very friendly and helpful but there did not seem to be enough staff, the kitchen area was dirty from breakfast well into the afternoon and check in was delayed as the room was not clean in time. The toilet in reception was visibly dirty and no hand towels. When we were checking our room before leaving, we noticed a lot of dust build up under the bed, it appeared it had not been cleaned for some time. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff but the standard was not where we would expect for the price.

Na quinta da Amendoeira encontrei uma beleza serena e cativante. A harmonia entre o conforto e a elegância dos apartamentos e a envolvência natural é perfeita. É notável o respeito pela natureza, com uma preservação exemplar da fauna e flora locais, o que torna cada passeio pela quinta numa verdadeira descoberta.

Não poderia recomendar mais, este alojamento! Simplesmente fantástico. Bem perto do centro de Évora, é possível experienciar um silêncio maravilhoso. As pessoas são muito acolhedoras e bastante simpáticas. As casas são muito confortáveis, espaçosas, em perfeitas condições. Tem imensa disponibilidade de actividades. A zona exterior é enorme e muito agradável. A zona da piscina é lindíssima. Já o pequeno-almoço entregue em casa também é muito generoso e delicioso. A relação qualidade-preço é excepcional. Recomendo muito.
