Would highly recommend Marquis to someone looking to be in the candolim/ calungute area but away from the crowds in a 4 star boutique property with easy access to the beach. It can't get better. The rooms look fresh and new, very clean. The pool , the gardens and the overall upkeep of the resort is excellent. Check in, check out experience was smooth. Staff is very courteous. The rooms could have been a little bigger. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which I would rate as average. Although they had a spread of indian dishes, I missed some good local and continental dishes. Plus the restaurant staff was perturbed during breakfast rush hour hence service suffered. Their beach front pan asian restaurant, Yazu, is just fabulous. Great food, a great vibe and wonderful sea views. Will definitely go back here!

If we talk about one of the best hotels to stay with the Direct access to the beach in the condolim area of North Goa, I would say it is none other than Marquis beach resort. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was almost a perfect stay. The quality of stay that this resort is offering, is exactly what the person requires ,when he goes on a vacation with family Everything in this resort was good, Nice service, & very well maintained rooms & property. It offers an excellent view of the sea because of the direct access to the beach. But one area which needs to be taken care of, is vegetarian food quality in the buffet breakfast which left a lot to be desired A special mention for Mr Jitendra for being so caring & going out on the way to make us comfortable. I think this is the kind of standard of behaviour which every one should follow.

The Hotel is located at the Ocean front and also close to the main activity hub of candolim with many restaurants , pubs & shopping arcades within 5-10 minutes walking distance. We had requested for early check in but the front desk couldn't satisfy us on this front . Initial check in experience was quite disappointing. Rest of our stay was very comfortable as all the staff of the hotel are very energetic & helpful . A special mention about Mr Dattaram who is ever ready to serve & help the guests with his smiling face. The Breakfast at the first floor restaurant was excellent with range of Indian & English cuisines. The sea beach close to the hotel is very clean and has few busy seafood restaurants. Overall experience of our stay was very good.

It’s been 9yrs since we’ve stayed at this hotel so wondered if it would be as nice. It has had a refurbishment during Covid so the rooms are much better & we had a lovely room overlooking the gardens & pool area. As for the hotel, it used to have quite a few Europeans & English stay there but has very much changed with mainly Indians staying there now, not a criticism just an observation, this was very much reflected in the breakfast buffet which we enjoyed. Not many beds round the pool so if you’re a pool person this is probably not the hotel for you, we’re not & visited the beach mainly.

Top notch hospitality in terms of all services, the best part is direct access to the beach with limited crowd. Food, hygiene and other things are perfect. Please connect with dattaram when you visit resort nice person and will tell you the best prices and other required details. Jitendra also helped us with nearby spots to visit and local food option to tried.

Our stay at Marquis resort was quite memorable. The beach front property is located on Sinquerim beach near Candolim in North Goa, and the biggest plus point of staying here is that you get direct access to a fairly private part of the beach that's away from the crowds. The resort overall has a homely feel, with comfortable and well equipped rooms. Although not exuding luxury as some 5-star resorts, Marquis is charming and cosy, perfect for families with kids. Big parking space is available. Popular restaurants like Fisherman's Cove and Tomato's are 5-10 mins away if you have a bike/car. Marquis has a swimming pool, a multi cuisine restaurant where breakfast buffet is also served, and, Yazu, their sea-facing Pan Asian restaurant. Would we go back? Yes - for the location, smiling service, and reasonable pricing.

We visited this resort with our family and had excellent experience. The resort exceeded our expectations in every way.Special mention to Jitendra, one of the staff members, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. His warm hospitality and attentive service made our trip even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and wonderful gateway.

Awesome place. Beach is also close. Special thanks to Yohan, Emmanuel, Sonu, Rajen and some others whose names we don't remember- the chefs who made brilliant dosas for us and the chef who made excellent lunch for us for three days. Even the beach watchmen and housekeeping staff were polite and hardworking.
