Hotel Peretol

Chalet/hotel Peretol excellent value for money. We Arrived at the hotel 11pm and there was a meal waiting for us. The rooms were clean well equipped ,comfortable and warm. breakfast continental buffet style with fresh tea and coffee eggs ham cheese cereal toast and fresh fruit. Laura organized ski equip. lift passes and ski school. In the morning a ski bus was outside the hotel waiting to take beginners to ski school. and to bring them back in the afternoon. The intermediates there is a button lift on the door step to take you into the mountain from there ski to Grau Roig to meet the beginners for lunch. Laura and the rest of the crew went well above and beyond to help all week. advice on busses lifts here and there. our transfer home was very early in the morning they even gave us a lift to meet the transfer coach. Please don't expect that for free the walk uphill on cold icy early morning has to be worth its weight in gold. The food in the hotel was good with a selection on offer all days ( 3 course with drinks ) apart from the chalet staff day off. there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby resorts of pas or soldeu. Final thoughts i have skied most of Europe some north America in hotels and chalets, this would be my best pick. not the most luxurious but certainly the friendliest and most helpful. If you are expecting 5* luxury then this isn't the place for you. If you're a skier like me that wants good skiing, somewhere warm, cosy and friendly then this the place for you. Nuestra estancia en Hotel Peretol ha sido más que perfecta. Seguro que me olvido de mil detalles, pero para empezar nos esperaron con la cena calentita para hacer el check in, nos acomodaron perfectamente. La habitación perfecta, el desayuno genial, la comida, como en casa. Todo el personal, profesional, amable y con una sonrisa. Encantadores. Tuvimos un accidente en pistas, Laura nos ayudo a llegar a urgencias, se preocupo por nosotros, incluso llamo al hospital para informarse del seguro. Simplemente increíble. Creo que tener un alojamiento tan bien situado, unas habitaciones tan cómodas y una comida tan rica, no sería nada sin un equipo con una calidad humana como tienen. Agradecido a todos, de mi parte y de mi mujer, por cuidarnos tan bien sin importar las horas y por hacernos pasar unos días tan estupendos. Volveremos sin duda! Hasta pronto!
