Resort Cala di Falco

Cala di Falco is a little jewel on the coast, a lovely location with good amenities. The rooms were just as the website shows. Bathrooms were recently refurbished, plenty of hot water on tap, lovely toiletries and towels. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff, very good service. The resort and accommodation are peaceful and relaxing.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the pools gorgeous and the apartments we stayed in were great. Really comfortable beds, good showers and clean, with all the essentials. Everything was well maintained. We had a balcony to sit out in the evening. Staff helped us with guidance on where to walk to round the coast, how to find a boat trip and walk up the nearby hill, giving us a hand drawn map. Canniogione is a great base for a holiday to explore this beautiful coastline, with sparkling seas. I didn't eat at the hotel but the nearby restaurants were delicious. Fantastic visit.

Just returned from a great stay in the apartments at Cala di Falco. Staff were super friendly and could not have been more helpful - Antonelli gave us fantastic local restaurant and beach recommendations and a map for the walk up the ‘mountain’ behind the hotel. Residences are well equipped (though no teapot - but suspect that’s a British thing!) and comfortable. Everything is within easy walking distance and the hotel pool is superb. A great find and super value.

Arrived late night and was welcomed with a meal waiting ,staff were fantastic so friendly the restaurant staff were great especially Maria and Andrea thank you both for the language lessons. the rooms are large we had a junior suite no 420 the shower cubicle was quite small compared to the size of the bathroom but ok rooms were spotless and well kept the views from the bar and restaurant were fantastic better than the brochure The down side for us was the patio it was full of ant's and mosquitos it was dark and uninviting due the the over grown bushes and dead branches the slab were green and slippery. We asked for another room but was told NO Still i did enjoy everything else food very good drinks price ok it felt so relaxing thank you all.

I agree with all the positive reviews so far - this hotel was just right for a September holiday. Our room was very quiet - we were upgraded to a junior suite - and the living space with mini bar and sofas was really useful. The swimming pool is saline, very deep and crystal clear, with plenty of big sun loungers around. The free 10 minute shuttle to Mannena beach is well worth it. Very quiet and a chance to swim in the turquoise waters this area is so famous for. But mostly I want to commend the hotel staff, who were absolutely lovely whoever they were and whatever their role. I had a list of names to tell you, from the bar staff, reception ladies, cleaners, cooks and gardeners, every one of whom were dedicated, friendly, enthusiastic, patient members of the staff. But on reflection it seems unfair to single some out and not others. You will be amazed by the restaurant, the food is extremely good, a huge variety of delicious food, morning and evening, and you will be welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness by all the waiters and waitresses, especially the MaitreD's, who will always find you the table of your choice, and make sure you have everything you need. Stayed end of August/first week of September for 9 nights. Lovely and quiet at the hotel at this time of year. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean with nice decor and choice of colours. Breakfast was lovely every morning with a wide selection of choices. The hotel is a short walk into the little town of Cannigione, which we ate our evening meal in every night and enjoyed shopping in boutiques and street markets until late at night. The hotel has an over water sun lounger deck on the beach, but you have to pay quite a lot to use it unfortunately, which put us off. The beach is nice enough but as this is a harbour, so don't expect soft white sand or turquoise water. We stuck to the salt water pool which was lovely. My husband and I like to use the gym daily, unfortunately 2/3 of the machines were broken, we did report it to reception at the beginning of our 9 night stay, but nothing was done. The machines are kept outside under a straw canopy, so are exposed to all elements, which probably doesn't help! Our room was great apart from the bed which was very very firm, we had to take out a spare duvet from the cupboard to lie on. There is also no full length mirror. The hotel provides a free 7 seater bus to a local beach which needs to be pre booked, the times are very flexible which is helpful. It's only a 5 min journey.. the beach itself was nice but do expect it to still be packed with people at this time of year, we took a walk through the woods and over the rocks to find a much quieter small beach.
