I took my fiancée there for a romantic get away. It couldn't have been any more prefect. The room was nicely set up with wine and roses, and a cheese plate, thanks Darrin! Our balcony overlooked a wooded area that had several deer grazing. Keith showed us some of the local visitors. We had a beautiful view of the valley and the lake from our balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The bed was very comfortable and all the facilities were excellent. Our room had a screen door which we closed at night, and watched a magnificent lightening storm over the lake all night long. Unbelievable! The hosts were very nice and Darrin treated us every morning to a delicious breakfast that you won't get at hotels. I would visit there just for the breakfast. We were given great information about the local eateries and things to do around the lake. Overall, we had a wonderful time and the owners made the experience a truly remarkable one. We will visit there again. Thanks , Darrin and Keith.

Always an excellent experience. Far better than an AirBnB. Onsite always are management, customer service, maintenance and repair (if needed) personnel. Wonderful breakfasts. Great service, advice and help from multi-talented owners. Fifth time we enjoyed their accommodations, their onsite amenities, and visits/conversations with other guests. Our top spot for overnight, weekend and longer visits to the Texas Hill Country.

A fantastic B&B near Canyon Lake. Fantastic owner operators who are helpful and amiable. Delicious breakfast too. They offer wonderful amenities that I wish were more common: a small telescope, deer food, snacks and drinks. Will definitely return

The beauty of the place is amazing. Texas Hill Country scenery in a quiet setting with a lovely house. Each room has a theme. I stayed in the garden room this time which made me feel as if I'd walked right into a "garden". This was my second visit and I'll keep returning when I travel this way. The hosts, Darrin and Keith, are exceptional! They ask about dietary needs (and the breakfasts are scrumptious) and they go out of their way to answer questions, provide directions and suggestions for places in the surrounding areas, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We loved being there the place is outstanding. It is one of the places in south Texas that you definitely do not want to pass up. Great location. We booked because you were recommended by a person my wife just met. Darrin and Keith made our 40th anniversary so special. They are such good hosts are making a difference every effort to get make each guest feel like home away from home. we were in the garden room love the mix of old and new. We will definitely book again and again. Thank for such a special stay.

Clean and comfortable! The owners Darrin and Keith were very hospitable and wanted us to have a great stay! We will definitely return! Beautiful setting! Lovely home with deer that come up to be fed. A great relaxing B&B. Also, they ask if you have any food allergies for breakfast.

We were only here for a 1 night stay, but we could have stayed a week at this amazing slice of heaven. Darren and Keith were so accommodating and friendly and just went out of their way for us and their guests. They had snacks as you walk in, and a fridge with drinks for our use. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated and had everything you'd need, from bathrobes and slippers to fresh water and chocolates. The beds were so comfortable too! We really enjoyed sitting out on our balcony and listening to the windchimes and watching the quiet night sky from our own hot tub. Darren made a delicious breakfast for us all and we ate with other lovely guests and had coffee out on the deck as we watched the deer come up and feed. Thank you for your graciousness Darren and Keith, we will be back!

First time staying at a B&B, I didn’t know what to expect. Days before arriving we received an email with so much helpful information about the area and the B&B. Darrin greeted Us by name like she had known us for years, gave us a tour of the home, and lead us to The Captain’s Bay Suite. Wow!!! The Room was so spacious and very cozy, the king size bed was comfortable, the View is spectacular, and the large private balcony is enough to not want to leave the B&B. I now have a standard for what to expect in any hotel or B&B stay. This place is quite literally a home-away-from-home (ex: Darrin asking if you have any food allergies, any preferences) There really is just no other way to describe it. It's no wonder the owners are mentors for other hotels. We Highly recommend this place as a quick getaway for any couples trying to escape the hustle and bustle of life to recharge their batteries.

How lucky we were to find this wonderful B&B! Nestled in the trees with a great view of Canyon Lake from our deck off the Stargazer suite which was totally clean and comfortable. Darrin and Keith are so interesting, friendly and know how to make all the guests feel immediately at home. And Darrin’s breakfasts made us wish we were staying longer!
