Rhythm of The Sea

Love this place! Been there multiple times and it never disappoints. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, immaculate, and cozy. The breakfasts are delicious culinary delights offered at 2 different times. The location is right across from a nice, uncrowded beach. The hosts are always friendly, helpful, and personable. We've always enjoyed their bikes and the pool table too. It's become our go-to place when visiting Cape May!

This was our second visit to Rhythm of the Sea and this time our room came with the terrace overlooking the ocean, so relaxing. Waking up and watching the sunrise was such a treat. Amy and Katie were both generous and so helpful with dinner suggestions and local doings. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for a casual bike ride around the town. Our room was clean and tended to while we were having breakfast. Lovely location and hosts. We will return, thanks!

We recently revisited beautiful Cape May after 23 years! Our trip started off on a high note when we arrived at “Rhythm of the Sea” Bed & Breakfast Inn. What a wonderful oceanfront location that was very tranquil and so convenient to the beach and restaurants. The Innkeepers Amy and Kait were friendly and welcoming… making our 4-day stay such a pleasant experience! Every morning we looked forward to their gourmet breakfasts featuring baked eggs, french toast, belgian waffles, omelots, peppered bacon, etc. All served with fresh fruit on the side as well as delicious homemade fruit juices. The Inn was very accommodating with tailoring some of the breakfasts for my husband’s diabetic needs. There is a communal area for storing your beverages and food in a refrigerator plus another area for helping yourself to coffee and tea during the day. Homemade cookies are also provided every afternoon which was a nice treat. The Inn has a grand feeling with wide open spaces and high ceilings. We enjoyed using their porch area with plenty of seating. Our room #6 was clean, comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom. The room was nicely refreshed every day after we returned from breakfast. We are bike riders and brought our own bikes. There is a place on their premises where you can lock your bikes or they provide their own bikes for you to use. We particularly enjoyed bike riding around Cape May and felt very safe riding on the roads with cars. There are dedicated lanes for cyclists and we found the drivers to be very courteous. We rode our bikes to the Lighthouse and along side streets to take in all the beauty of this historical seaside area with their magnificent homes. Overall, we were very happy to return to Cape May and to stay at such a wonderful bed & breakfast inn. Amy & Kait, thank you for all your kind hospitality and we truly look forward to coming back!
