We had a wonderful time at the Mountview Guesthouse at the turn of the year. We were given a very friendly welcome and were looked after warmly for 10 days. Mountview is located in an urban area and is not far from the city and the sea. Mountview not only has heart, but is also kept very clean by a great team. We didn't want to leave, but every great vacation must come to an end. Best wishes from Germany.

Really Nice place in Seapoint, everything looks brand new and the place is very clean. Breakfast is also really good and the staff is nice and friendly.

We had a very nice stay at Mountview guest house. Joe is fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and nice rooms, I can recommend this Guest house.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful guest house for four nights as part of our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The place was spotless, with stunning decor that gave it a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore everything Cape Town has to offer. We loved every moment of our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Cape Town!

Great owner and management. Came for Cape Town Cycle Tour and got amazing experience with the accommodation. Rooms are not too big but enough for rest. The location is the best, quiet and of course safe. I strongly recommend this place!

I have stayed at Mountview twice now. This is my first choice when I visit CapeTown. It’s convenient because you are close to waterfront and many popular places and the sea is walking distance. Joe is great and Lebo the housekeeper is a ray of sunshine.

Joe is a very nice, friendly and helpful host ! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The guesthouse itself is situated on a reasonably busy street, parking opts near by, but not on premise. Breakfast was served and very good, Müsli, fresh fruits, eggs, bacon, … toast, etc. There is a small pool but nobody seems to use it. Our room had more or less no window, at least not a window with a view to somewhere, which I personally missed. Good and well situated guesthouse, good for short stays.
