Cape Diamond Boutique Hotel recensioner

It's a diamond in the rough! Good location with plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance and lots of ubers to take you to the waterfront. The hop on / hop off bus stop is 3 just blocks away. Continental breakfast is available and all you need to start your day. The rooftop bar is a real treat! A rustic setting with great views! Staff is friendly and accommodating. My only dislike is that the room bathrooms used a barn door style door, it doesn't provide much privacy! All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

Centrally located, within a 20 minute walk to waterfront; good spot. The beds were a bit firm but the staff were very attentive and kind. Hot breakfast was served on weekends, the rest of the week were good but they had steamed eggs with bread. The juice was tasty!

Great location in the center of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. They were all very welcoming as soon as we arrived at the front doors. There was a good amount of police in the area 24/7 to ensure safety and it was super easy to grab an Uber to get around. There is a daily light breakfast with pastries, cereal, meats, and cheeses. The rooms are pretty basic. The bed was comfy. There is a small roof top bar that was nice to end the night with and the bartender, Sam, made our time there so much fun. He welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family. Just a really wonderful chap. Overall, good place to stay for a few nights.

This central location had a wonderful breakfast! Our rooms were very clean. However, there was very little counter space in the bathroom to put bathroom items. The rooms also had very thin walls. The mattress was slightly better than sleeping on the floor. Guests Services were very friendly and helpful!

The room was clean and the pillows were comfortable. The water was always hot. The blankets were very clean. The Wi-Fi connects well . The breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent. When you access keys is not working the receptionist helps you well without complains or attitude. But they didn’t give us milk on the second day and last day. That’s the only disappointing part

Shocked at how poor this hotel was. Compared to others in SA. Mold in ceiling in bathroom. Not enough towels for each room. Not enough supplies for each room. Power outlets don’t work. Hallways smelled. No water offered or to buy so you need an escort to go out and buy some outside the hotel. Just did not expect this from exotica compared to other sites. Staff seemed to know all the problems and did their best they could. Others in our group felt the same. Just be aware so your not surprised.

Lovely room, comfy bed. Quiet but central location. Helpful and polite reception, cleaning and breakfast staff. Breakfast was continental style. Great rooftop bar for a nightcap or even a snack and a cocktail or two. Highly recommend this hotel. I had a cold and the lady on reception even came with me to buy medication.

It was so Amazing i booked a Romantic Turnaround 😍 it was so Nice my Wife enjoyed and we are definitely going back in December already Reserved Book your rooms peeps , it is amazing for room to staff and there's a roof top bar Bar is cool 😎 happy .

My wife and I spent our 10 year wedding anniversary in the best room at the Cape Diamond Hotel. We loved the drinks on the rooftop bar and the fact that the location is so central so that we can enjoy other great services just across the street like Whiskey tasting, waffle bar and great eastern restaurants. Really enjoyed our time at the cape diamond! Highly recommend it.

My wife and I spent our 10 year wedding anniversary at The Cape Diamond Hotel. We stayed in their very best room and really enjoyed the Rooftop bar as well as the Breakfast the next morning. The location made it possible to enjoy all the other great restaurants and waffle bars across the street. Really recommend it!

All in all a great experience with a fabulous view of the mountain from the roof top bar. I recommend going up for a sunset drink! With its central location getting around the city is a breeze. The buffet breakfast is a great way to start your day.

Cape Diamond Hotel is exceptionally well located and the refurbishments have been remarkable. The rooms are beautifully allocated with a modern feel in a building that has so much history, you cannot help but feel like you are in the warmth and heart of the mother city. The staff are always so willing to help and nothing is too much. Weather business or pleasure, long or short stays, this hotel is perfect. There are many great restaurants within safe walking distance. Close to the Cape Town International Convention Centre and the Waterfront.

Excellent front desk staff and I was impressed with the finishes and quality of the room that I stayed in. The rooftop bar has a beautiful view over the mountain. The view was great and very good barman. Very polite staff. Will definitely stay again in the near future.

Rooms and bathrooms and lifts all new. Close to many attractions being Gardens, planetarium, slave museum, St George's Cathedral, Adderley Street etc. A real South African experience. The rooftop bar has excellent views and Sam is a great host.
