Everything from the beginning was exceptional. Staff very friendly and efficient. Service was flawless. Overall neatness of our room was up to par. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you to everyone who made our stay memorable. Matthys Family.

Hotel advertised suite as 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suitable for 4 adults. This is not the case. The second bedroom is dreary and small and does not have any light or a view. Only room with a view was the main bedroom. Hotel is also outdated and in need of a major upgrade as furniture is scuffed and old. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, on arrival we found toothpaste marks on the cabinets and soap scum around the sink. Walls were also dirty and the latch for the toilet did not work. The second bedroom door didn’t close properly. The fridge was also not cleaned. Air-cons did not work. Positives about this hotel is the location, excellent sea view and friendly staff. I would recommend a refurbished room on a higher floor, which we requested, but the hotel did not have any availability at the time of our check in.

The review by Brian A below is utter nonsense. The Peninsula hotel has been extensively upgraded in recent years. Two new lifts installed Many floors and suites modernised. Strolla brasserie opened. The entire reception area on the ground floor improved. And many other things. Meantime all the hotel's strong points - above all its great staff and wonderful location by the sea - remain. Ignore Brian A's travesty of a review!

A fantastic resort right on the Seapoint promenade. Staff are all very accommodating especially Isaac who was most helpful with looking after our luggage. The free shuttle service to nearby Hotspot is a bonus. The drivers are courteous and friendly. Rooms are well kept and serviced

Loved the location of the hotel. Beautiful views from the superior suites. The hotel is a bit dated. They have started renovating some rooms. We were very surprised that one has to pay for load shedding and parking and there is not always parking available. The breakfast buffet has a nice flapjack machine. Staff is accommodating.
