Boskerris Hotel

From the moment we went in we were impressed. So light and airy, decorated in beautiful seaside soft pastel colours. Exceptionally well maintained with immaculate paintwork throughout. We had breakfast served to us on the large terrace overlooking the sea. The staff – Anne, Emma, Julia and Georgia – were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Nice hotel views and location. The food wasn’t as good as we had hoped it would be . Breakfast only had two starter choices and the cooked bacon was overcooked and burnt most mornings, as were the fried eggs. Dinner menu was limited and very small portions of ordinary tasting food, disappointed as previous reviews for the food seemed good. We had a double room for £300 per night it was very small and by a noisy road. Not sure it’s worth the price to be honest. The hotel bar never had any guests that we saw and lacked atmosphere. However the decor was pretty and calming, not sure we would stay again shame

An absolute must visit. Every inch of the hotel has been so thoughtfully considered. The terrace is stunning with gorgeous views across the bay. However, it’s the staff that really make this hotel special - every single person went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We really had a lovely time, I only wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a lovely hotel - stunning views from the terrace, amazing walks along the coastal path from the doorstep and very pretty and quiet rooms. The staff as mentioned in other reviews are exceptionally kind, friendly and attentive. To give a couple of examples: I asked for extra decaf in my room as I don't drink caffeinated coffee - and the manager immediately took the time to get me more pods - but furthermore when the room was cleaned the staff remembered that I only drank decaf and filled up the supplies just with decaf! Sounds a minor point but actually really important as shows excellent personalised management. Or, I was sitting on the terrace and a member of staff saw me there and rushed out with a cushion, without me even asking. That sort of thing really makes a huge difference. Also my daughter joined me on a whim, and the staff were so lovely to her and found room for her at the very last minute. The food is also delicious, a wonderfully high standard at both breakfast and dinner. Also - and a key consideration - you are saved from all the hassle with the parking which you get if you stay in St Ives. Instead there's a great car park outside the hotel and then you can walk or get the little train into St Ives and back. Or, you can rent an e-bike easily in St Ives as well! Lovely place - we'll be back.

We have stayed at this hotel annually for many years. It never disappoints and just gets better. The hotel staff are friendly, the hotel immaculate and beautifully designed, the bedrooms comfortable and the views from the dining room and other public areas stunning. The parking is easy. The food including evening meals are almost too good. As usual we stayed seven nights and felt really relaxed after we left. There are also lots of beautiful places to visit as well as walks. Such a relaxing place to visit with a beautiful view especially from the balcony area with a drink. Excellent choices for breakfast and a tasty evening meal if you stay in. All the staff are friendly and helpful which makes this a place to return to!
