Super 8 by Wyndham East Moline

When my husband and I arrived my husband did the check in and it went fine. I noticed the furniture was stained and shrugged it off. We got in our room and it all went down hill. My expectations were low for the price of this hotel. But immediately my husband (who owns and manages rental properties) says “it smells like pest spray in here, don’t put anything down.” Then he pointed out liquid residue on many surfaces and we found a roach in the toilet. So we went back downstairs. The front desk was reasonable until the moment my husband took our stuff back to the car. Then he was rude and pushy to me and so dismissive. And now they won’t respond to ******* so that I can have my night refunded. He tried to play dumb about having roaches but the strong smell and humidity made it clear it had been sprayed that day. We went and stayed at the Hyatt. This place was too disgusting.

Nasty run down place Upon check in we found crusty old towel on bathroom floor and one “clean” towel that had grease on it like mechanic wiped his hands. Holes in the walls like something was ripped out, cigarette burns on blankets, yellow stains on all sheets and pillow cases. Asked front desk to get some clean towels and he made us bring towels from our room to so called laundry and said let’s see if we can find something clean. At this point I went to store and bought towels. Rooms are very outdated and heavily used- broken tub drain/rusted out, nasty faucet handles, nasty carpeting, back/side door doesn’t close at all. Anyways it was terrible and won’t be staying at any Motel 8 ever again.

Dont advertise this hotel, its a dump. Roaches, dirty blankets, lock and doors did not work or shut properly. Would have been better off camping
