It is located in our yearly leasing campground on 160 acres and there are walk path with play equipment along the way, bike path, frisbee golf, pickle ball court and half basketball court. It is located by famous fishing lake, Payne Lake and only 15 minutes away from Waterton international park that has lots of hiking trails and 15 minutes away from Waterton dam for water sports. Lots to do in all season including ice fishing, hunting, cross country ski etc.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 1 total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:No pets are allowed on bed and there will be extra $100 cleaning fee for excessive pet hair on bedding and you can have a second dog for extra $50..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.

The cabins were very nice. The only thing that would make a better would be easy access to a swimming lake.

Great get a way.
Quiet , clean campground. Kids loved the lake and the play area. The short drive to waterton was awesome as well. Will be back for sure .

Loved the cottage and both areas for relaxation - deck and fire pit. All kitchen amenities were available and cleanliness throughout.

Gateway to Waterton
We had a perfect stay in the Grizzly Basin. It was a nice location and a very cute hut. The kids loved the playground.

Place to sleep
Directions once past the entrance were a little confusing. Showers separate from the unit. Bring your own shampoo and soap.

Close to Waterton
This was the perfect place for my family to relax after our adventures in Waterton National Park. A short drive from the park, with gorgeous views of the mountains and Payne Lake. It was peaceful and the hosts were friendly. We would stay again.

A true glamping experience in the wilderness. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. The patio was surrounded by woods. Felt very close to nature, but with the safety. Had a great relaxing time with family. The lounge was a nice addition with games, gym and books. 20 min scenic drive to Waterton. Owner was very friendly and approachable. Will definitely come back!!!

The location was what we wished: a quieter area about 20 minutes away from Watertown. The view from the cabin area over the reservoir provided a beautify sunset when we first arrived.
Two weaknesses of the cabin: (1) Insufficient ventilation on the ground floor. A second screened window on that floor would have provided a welcome cross-breeze. (2) There were no hooks for cloths and towels in either the kitchenette and bathroom.
In summary: Despite the two weaknesses that I mentioned, the cabin suited our purposes and we would stay again.
