Hotel-Restaurant Lann Roz / Côte Cuisine

A nice hotel, with modern quite spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a balcony, reasonably well equipped though no tea / coffee machine. A bit spartan on electric plugs especially for travellers who have a decent amount of tech with them. Parking is on site, and breakfast was excellent as you might expect from a Michelin starred kitchen. What is worthy of note though is that we did not get any warning in advance from the hotel that their restaurant would be fully booked for dinner both nights that we were there. In our many years of experience with quality establishments, the offer to book in advance, or warning that it is not possible is what we have come to expect, especially as this is not a budget hotel. It is interesting that the description of the hotel on Tripadvisor doesn't mention the Michelin restaurant, and in fact points guests to dine elsewhere. All rather odd, as if the management make a rather arbitrary (slightly arrogant?) separation between 'tourists' and 'fine diners'.

Our Stay at the Lann-Roz was in the main very good, The Rooms were clean and proper with lovely balconies overlooking the gardens.... the restaurant was first class as was the service and the wines were of a good price The Breakast at 14euros pp was expensive but very well presented and attention to cleanliness was first class. However, to have dogs in the Restaurant and Breakfast area, the dogs being of the large side ie Standard Poodle, which reached / jumped up to the tables to see what their owners were eating, to me was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and should be addressed... Also the rooms are non smoking but the balconies are not so to have both sides of you puffing away on Cigars is not great... Parking is available but very tight.. All in all a hotel which is 10 mins walk from the Town and equal distance from the beach is very good... But having dogs that jump up as to reach the tables from which their owners are eating is quite another thing... Would I stay here again, for the restaurant YES for the Service YES for the rooms YES for Pets accessibility a Resounding NO!! So on this review I am afraid you have to draw your own conclusions........

Le simple fait qu'il n'y ait pas de bouilloire avec café soluble, tisane et thé à disposition me fait dire qu'il est étonnant que cet hôtel dispose de trois étoiles. Confort du lit moyen, absence de drap plat, juste présence d'une couette, sans laquelle on a froid, avec laquelle on a trop chaud, et choix d'oreiller inexistant. Le fait d'avoir une salle de bain ouverte sur la chambre ne m'a pas plus plu que les logements qui ont une cuisine située dans la même pièce que le salon. Nous espérions mieux. Le petit déjeuner est cher (21 euros par personne) mais est heureusement à la hauteur. Il vaut donc le coup et le coût : présence notamment d'omelette et d'œufs brouillés réussis, d'andouille, de saumon légèrement fumé, de fromages, croissants et gâteaux maisons (non goûtés pour ces derniers, mais c'est ce que m'ont certifié mes convives) de qualité. Bien en profiter tardivement (il est servi jusque 10h et la chambre doit être quittée à 11h) peut être rentable si grâce à cela on saute par la suite le déjeuner.
