Casa Cordoba Baru

What a gem of a place!! Hotel is beautiful, remote, and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. We arrived on a boat and the staff greeted us on dock. We loved relaxing by the pool and beach, enjoyed the complimentary kayaks, and did a few massages at spa on dock that we highly recommend. The food/drinks at restaurant was very delicious and gourmet, and the service was incredible. If you’re looking for a lowkey remote place, this is it!! Note it’s not a party hotel and is very remote. We did have a small room, which we didn’t mind since we were always outside. We had an issue with AC, which they quickly addressed and fixed (thank you!!). Highly recommend for a relaxing and peaceful trip of a lifetime!!!

The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The hotel itself is nice enough, quiet and secluded, quite hard to find though, specially if you are driving. The food is quite expensive and not a lot of variety in the menu and no restaurants around.

Loved this place- 3 large beautiful wooden houses next to each other with various rooms in each- cute colours, cute style. Lots of places to sit or lie around and relax, lovely bar and outdoor restaurant area. Seafront views that are wonderful, calm waters safe to swim in. Pool is not for swimming laps bit it's a lovely pool to relax in when you don't feel like the sea. Lovely staff. Food is nice (not fine dining or super special, but nice and fresh), portions compared to price are a bit small as the prices are high. Grounds are lovely, lots of birdlife to watch. So quiet and I love their no music policy (of course you hear the neighbouring property's music but it's quite distant-sounding so it doesn't bother you). The only down side was that in the top double rooms, you hear everything in the adjoining room because they are made of wood - we heard our neighbour snoring. So really, privacy in rooms is limited if you're not in one of their suites (which look so nice!). If I were the owner I would try to find a work-around for this, some kind of sound-proofing like padded fabric wall in between the guest rooms perhaps...this would make this place perfect! It's not cheap for Colombia, but it's still decently priced if you're using a strong currency.

Casa Cordoba was in a beautiful location on a lovely calm bay. The food was excellent and the new bartender was very skilled. There was a major confusion with our booking where the descriptions of the rooms on their website was incorrect, and they managed to sort it out and place us in the room we expected we had booked, which was very gracious of them!

Casa Cordoba is such a beautiful little Resort! If you are looking for a quiet place without parties or big crowds of people, this is the perfect place! The staff is very friendly and sweet. The food from their restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. And the Cocktails are amazing as well (especially the Pina Colada and the Passionfruit Mojito). They offer different tours, like snorkelling or visiting the bird park. But even without booking a tour the beautiful beach and the pool never get boring. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, oasis of freedom, right next to the sea, tropical climate, my gf and I spent 4 wonderful days, very good kitchen and top friendly service, very quiet and clean, all in all one of our favourite places worldwide. We will come back, this is for sure.
