Casa Cordoba Baru

The Hotel itself was alright. It was a cute place to stay and directly at the sea. Unfortunately the water wasn‘t that clear as you would expect from carribean sea. The breakfast wasn‘t enough and not even drinking water was included. Our room was very small and something smelled like pee. Its very hard to get somewhere by car because the only road to the hotel is total sh*t. Staff was friendly but very slow as well.

Beautiful quiet place with comfortable rooms close to the sea and pool. Good airco and ventilation Very Nice to go with your family. The only negative point is that you get little food per meal. After each meal we were still hungry. Service is very friendly

Loved this place- 3 large beautiful wooden houses next to each other with various rooms in each- cute colours, cute style. Lots of places to sit or lie around and relax, lovely bar and outdoor restaurant area. Seafront views that are wonderful, calm waters safe to swim in. Pool is not for swimming laps bit it's a lovely pool to relax in when you don't feel like the sea. Lovely staff. Food is nice (not fine dining or super special, but nice and fresh), portions compared to price are a bit small as the prices are high. Grounds are lovely, lots of birdlife to watch. So quiet and I love their no music policy (of course you hear the neighbouring property's music but it's quite distant-sounding so it doesn't bother you). The only down side was that in the top double rooms, you hear everything in the adjoining room because they are made of wood - we heard our neighbour snoring. So really, privacy in rooms is limited if you're not in one of their suites (which look so nice!). If I were the owner I would try to find a work-around for this, some kind of sound-proofing like padded fabric wall in between the guest rooms perhaps...this would make this place perfect! It's not cheap for Colombia, but it's still decently priced if you're using a strong currency.

Casa Cordoba was in a beautiful location on a lovely calm bay. The food was excellent and the new bartender was very skilled. There was a major confusion with our booking where the descriptions of the rooms on their website was incorrect, and they managed to sort it out and place us in the room we expected we had booked, which was very gracious of them!

Excellent place to disconnect and have a nice quiet time. Food is really good. The service was excellent, and at your disposal every time. This place is very secluded, calm, quiet and peaceful. The blue water in the beach is perfect for swimming and clean too. Only thing I would change is the transportation to get to it. It was a little complex due to its location but sure was worth it all. It is my understanding they are in the process to provide transportation to and from the island. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back again. Casa Cordoba is such a beautiful little Resort! If you are looking for a quiet place without parties or big crowds of people, this is the perfect place! The staff is very friendly and sweet. The food from their restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. And the Cocktails are amazing as well (especially the Pina Colada and the Passionfruit Mojito). They offer different tours, like snorkelling or visiting the bird park. But even without booking a tour the beautiful beach and the pool never get boring. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, oasis of freedom, right next to the sea, tropical climate, my gf and I spent 4 wonderful days, very good kitchen and top friendly service, very quiet and clean, all in all one of our favourite places worldwide. We will come back, this is for sure.

I highly recommend this place for family friends or couples the service is really nice everyone is very happy and very attentive the beach is really nice and quite. I highly recommend dona carmen for massages she is really professional Dona Aura and Dona carmen are very attentive in every way also the restaurant the girls are really nice and very accommodating with the food overall was a great experience. Nous avons été particulièrement déçus de notre expérience dans cet hôtel qui a première vue avait l’air super. Les chambres supérieures sont très petites, et surtout très mal insonorisées (on entend tout ce qu’il se passe chez les voisins). De plus, lors de notre retour nous avons été forcés de monter sur des motos sans protection pendant 30 minutes avec nos sacs ( on nous a d’abord proposé 1 moto pour 3). Soulignons qu’un taxi avait réussi à venir jusqu’à l’hôtel mais que le notre ne pouvait pas à cause de la route. Il nous a fait du chantage lorsque nous sommes arrivés à destination. Nous avons demandé un dédommagement pour cette expérience très décevante, qui nous a mit en danger et surtout qui n’était pas à la hauteur du prix, excessif, que nous avons payer. Dédommagement qui nous a été proposé sans prendre en compte nos remarques et impossibilités. L’équipe n’a rien voulu savoir et ne nous répond désormais plus. C’est bien de dédommager les clients, mais il faut que cela soit possible et utile pour eux sinon autant ne pas faire cette démarche. La nourriture est très chere pour des quantités pas très garnies et le petit déjeuner et très basique avec 2 tranches de pain et des fruits. Les activités proposées par l’hôtel sont sympa mais toujours extrêmement chères.
