Vale da Lapa Village Resort

the resort is beautiful and clean. but the only point is reception is 10 mins walk from my villa and it is said I can be added by staff WhatsApp， but during my stay no one contact me. So I can not book my breakfast and dinner.

The villa is amazing, super quiet and with all the amenaties you'll need .. We've booked a half pension, and i can say that the chef and staff were perfect. The food was amazing, loved the veggie options, and the staff was always super friendly. There is not much i would change on this resort, would expand the mini golf a bit further, other then that .. perfect vacation destination!

We stayed here in August after a week long group holiday in a villa in Benagil. This was just what we needed to recover from a hectic week ! The villas are spacious and spotlessly clean . We stayed in a two story two bed villa . The bed was huge and the balcony had wonderful views over the gardens . Most of all - the people who make this place so special are the staff . Tania , Natalino and Tieery to name a few . All the staff at this lovely village have made this one of the best holidays . They are so friendly and charming they make you smile everyday . I would love to name them all but there were so many . The taxis are cheap (5 euros) if you want to visit nearby Carvoiero for a bit more of a lively scene and amazing restaurants like A Gale and Jota Lita . There was a really good mix of nationalities staying at the village so you feel part of a truly global family . 100% we will be returning again .

Vale da Lapa is as good as it gets. Beautiful and well maintained grounds, totally renovated main building with bar, restaurant, and beautiful patio overlooking the pool. We stayed in a two bedroom townhouse that was modern, clean (and they come in once a week to clean and change towels and linen), and well appointed. Staff are very friendly, professional, and responsive. We stayed for three months last winter and four months this winter. Vale da Lapa facilities and staff made it a very enjoyable stay. Recommend it 100%.

We loved Vale da Lapa! The staff are exceptional, so friendly and to watch them switch between languages is incredible. There are two great features that stand out at this hotel, the first being the communication via WhatsApp - if you have a question you can ping them a message and they will respond and provide all the information you need. The second is that the hotel will pay you not to have cleaners everyday! We were provided with a €5 voucher to spend at the hotel for everyday we didn’t require the cleaners to come in. We opted for only one clean during our weeks stay and therefore had €25 to spend on food and drink. The two bedroom villa was huge! So clean and the bed in the master is enormous and really comfy. The pool area was also well laid out and there was plenty of space during our late September - early October break but I can imagine that it gets busy during the height of the season. The ‘golf’ facilities are basically a crumpled up green carpet on a concrete base with some holes in it so that could definitely be improved. Also, a small shop on site, stocking the basics, would be a really great feature. The Bolt App was brilliant. It’s the Portuguese version of Uber, easy to use, cheap and incredibly reliable. We used it everyday. Overall, we would highly recommend this accommodation and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We absolutely loved Vale da Lapa Village Resort. We were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman at reception and the experience only got better as our stay went on. It was a beautifully kept Resort, always spotless. We stayed in a 2 bed villa which was huge, each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom, plus another downstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, large sitting/dining area with balcony & terrace, just fab. The staff were second to none, so very friendly & helpful at all times. I couldn't praise the staff enough & I hope that they get recognised for their hard work & friendly attitudes. The breakfast was excellent, top notch. Bar & kitchen staff also so warm & always had time to chat. Pool & Spa area great but could do with cushions for sunbeds. Villa about 5km from city but no problem with taxi, also a lovely Italian restaurant about 2 mins walk. I would highly recommend this complex in the safe knowledge that you would love it as much as we did. So very well done to all the staff as it's them that made our visit so remarkable & we shall definitely return. Exceptional

I felt compelled to leave a review for this resort as it was one of the best I have stayed in and I thoroughly recommend it. We were a family of 4 and stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with our own pool. The wonderful experience started before we even arrived at the booking stage. The hotel were extremely helpful and even booked our transfers from and to the airport. We arrived on our first day a couple of hours delayed. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and arranged for the diner to stay open to provide us with some food. My family are quite fussy eaters so the restaurant was a bit much for us so we stuck with pizza. Our villa was quite far from reception so one of the reception team drove us there in a golf buggy of sorts. This was very welcome after travelling most of the day and with all our cases. The villa itself was perfect. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a giant open plan living space leading on to the bedrooms (all with ensuite) and kitchen (totally kitted out ) and seperate utility area. Then out to the garden area with a large pool with steps for easy access in and out. Six comfortable loungers, Dining table and 6 chairs. The pool was also accessible from the downstairs bedrooms which was great for my boys to go in and out without getting the whole villa wet. When you arrive you are sent several Whatsapp messages which provide all the information you need on the resort including restaurant details, transport to nearly beaches, spa and much more. The Whatsapp link to reception was one of the best things as on several occassions we were able to get reception to book us taxis and answer general queries. On one occasion we contacted reception to see if they could bring something to get rid of the ants which kept appearing which they did straight away. On another occassion after coming back from the nearby town at about 10pm our air conditioning was not working so i contacted the front desk and someone was at our villa before i got down the stairs. Issue fixed straight away. There is a little train that you can hop on at reception which takes you to the nearby town which we did on a few occassions. Totally free. You can also get the same train back so saved a few quid on taxis. In summary superb accomodation, super friendly staff and fabulous facilites. Cant wait to stay again.

Amazing place to stay. Great facilities and staff. Lots to do in and around the resort. The breakfast is really nice as well. Supermarkets and a couple of restaurants near by if you want to walk out of the resort. We hired a car from Faro airport to explore further. We will definitely be coming back.
