Hotel la Madonnina

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We had a nice corner room overlooking the sea. The breakfast was fantastic. We had dinner one night and it was good, too. One day they even provided a private wine tasting at the hotel for us. It was too cold to go out and sunbathe. Did use the indoor heated/thermal pool. Would stay here again.

All the staff at LaMadonnina are friendly & helpful. Grazie mille to Aldo, the cheerful bartender, who made a zesty Americano and a lovely mocktail for my wife -- served with aperitivi and great conversation at the hotel bar. The view from our seaside room with terrace was beautiful, especially in evening. Staff recommended nice restaurants in Ischia Porto & Ischia Ponte -- close to Castello Aragonese. We spent five days on Ischia and quickly decided the bus was the easiest way to explore the island. If you get hungry for mid-day snack, try Lo Sfizio Pizzeria just down the street from LaMadonnina. They make the pizza right in front of you!

La Madonnina is simply the best! We stayed for 4 nights and loved everything about it. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful-Mirella, Annalucia and Benedetta. The breakfast each morning had something for everyone. Francesco was the best server for breakfast and lunch with a positive can do attitude. He always took good care of us. The rooms were super clean thanks to the housekeeping staff. The beach area had everything with bar, restaurant, chairs/ umbrellas, kayaks, sea water for swimming. One of the nicest hotel beach areas we’ve visited. Also, you can easily walk into the small town of Casamicciola Terme for restaurants, shopping, etc.. Can’t wait to return again soon!

We were staying in this lovely hotel for the first leg of our honeymoon for three nights. The lovely team Upgraded us to a fabulous balcony room with a private hot tub. A real treat and a surprise. They also left us a welcome card contrasting us and a little cake, it was so lovely We enjoyed breakfast each morning, enjoyed a lunch at the beach club and a dinner one evening. The food was delicious and offered beautiful local wines. The staff were so kind and helpful from the reception staff to the wait staff. A short walk to the nearest town and a bus stop at the gate of the hotel bringing you anywhere on the island. The rooms were bright and comfortable, with classic Italian tiles which I loved. The views from the hotel were spectacular. Would recommend this hotel over and over and can’t wait to go back.

Hotel La Madonnina is an absolutely amazing, beautiful hotel in Ischia. This was my fourth visit to Ischia, and my first stay at the Hotel La Madonnina. I cannot wait to return! From the moment I entered this beautiful hotel, I was warmly greeted by Benedetta and Rosa Maria, who made me feel so welcome. Their customer service was outstanding, and although I arrived early, my room was ready. I was overwhelmed with joy when seeing my room-it was gorgeous, with a beautiful view of the sea. I immediately went to their beautiful beach, and spent the entire afternoon jumping in the gorgeous water. The lunch at their beach club was delicious-both days I was served by Gaspare and Onofrio, and their service was outstanding. The property’s location is magnificent, and one can totally relax and unwind with their beautiful location on the water. I also enjoyed their incredible breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. I cannot say enough about the outstanding service at this beautiful hotel-it is truly a gem in Casamicciola Terme. At the time of my departure, I was so touched by Benedetta and Rosa Maria, who were so genuinely warm and caring for their guests. They truly made me feel so at home, and I am so grateful to them, and the entire staff at the beautiful Hotel La Madonnina.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Madonnina. Benedetta was extremely helpful and friendly, she went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. The views from our room- which we were kindly upgraded to- free of charge, where breathtaking and I would reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in the beautiful Ischia. A massive thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
