Le Pommier

Our first time on Guernsey and it wont be our last, particularly as we struck gold with this excellent hotel. Checkin was welcoming and smooth (a pleasant change to be shown from reception to the room rather than being left to your own devices). The room itself was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and there was more than enough storage for a weeks stay. The room was warm and the temperature could be adjusted using the in room air con. WiFi and TV worked well. Space in bathroom was well arranged with usual shampoo etc and a good supply of fluffy towels. A kettle with teabags and coffee was also provided. Breakfast each day was excellent. Variously we chose full English, Eggs Benedict, various omelettes. Cereal, cold meats and cheese were also available. Parking was easy in the large car park and the hotel grounds were pleasant and I suspect in spring would be quite spectacular. On our final night (Boxing day) we had a family meal in the restaurant. unfortunately some of the choices on the menu were not available, but the alternatives we very nice. During our stay some flights were grounded by fog and a couple of guests were unable to travel, but the hotel seemed to look after them well. A delightful hotel with great service, I look forward to a return visit.

An excellent hotel. Short walk to the beautiful Cobo bay and other places to ear and drink. Overall very good value for money. Pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Water and biscuits provided. Netflix and prime on TV. Tasty breakfast.

A quiet hotel in a great destination pretty much sums up le pommier. It is a great hotel and amazing location. Well worth a stay. Price good and staff good too. Room clean. Sleep quality high. Nice stay in Guernsey. Certainly good for all types of travellers.

A wonderful hotel with helpful and friendly staff We loved this hotel by far and away exceeded our expectations nice location. Breakfast choices were overwhelming … very spoilt for choice Wracking our brains to find fault …. And failing GO VISIT AND STAY

This is a friendly hotel, it is very clean and tidy and we found the cooked breakfast and evening meals to be excellent. The hotel is situated near Cobo Bay which has several restaurants and cafe's that are worth a visit. There are also lovely sandy beaches at L'Ancresse which is a short drive from the hotel, The hotel proved to be a very good choice for our holiday.

We only called in for lunch so cannot comment on rooms etc. The lunch was well prepared with excellent service, and the grounds are pleasant to sit in. Price was reasonable. The hotel is amongst a lot of houses which spoils the arrival experience a lttle.
