Hotel Bell Repos

My family & I recently stayed for 12 nights at the Hotel Bell Repos in May 2024. It is a family run hotel set one street back from Platja d'Aro. We found it to be a quiet haven of tranquility with a beautiful garden & relaxing outdoor seating. The staff are all helpful & friendly with many speaking Catalan, Spanish, French & English. I highly recommend this small but beautiful Hotel, breakfast is a delight & is served daily from 08.00-10.00. We had a family room for myself, my wife, my daughter & granddaughter, our room was actually two adjoining rooms with one shared bathroom. It was pleasantly decorated & very comfortable, meeting all our needs. An extra benefit was the inclusion of a full size fridge within the room, daily cleaning is of a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nothing was too much trouble for the attentive staff in answering our many questions of where to go, or places to visit. From the 1st day of our holiday to the last, we were treated with such warmth & kindness, to the extent we felt like family members. We plan to return as our daughter & granddaughter now live in this area of Spain. There is only one place we shall book & that is the Hotel Bell Repos. The staff is so friendly, you will feel at home when you step into the hotel at the first minute. This is the place to relax. Nice garden. Perfect location. Within 1 minute at the beach. The citycentre is around the corner. Cala Del Pi is in walkingdistance. When you travel to Platja d Aro, stay in Bell Repos hotel. Ivo Suurhoff.

Following in the footsteps of some good friends we spent a few days in this lovely hotel which deserves more than 2**. We loved the eco/sustainable philosophy of the hotel. The staff were super friendly & helpful. Our room was enormous, very comfortable & breakfast fantastic, catering for all tastes. We shall return ........

We close the hotel because it was small, had a garden and was near the beach. I’m glad I did not read the negative reviews as they would have prevented me booking here. Many reviews complain about there being no air conditioning but we had what looked like a new unit in our rooms which worked very well. We didn’t realise when we booked that the hotel was committed to recycling and using organic products. This suited me very well as I didn’t get my usual reactions to chemical cleaning ingredients. The sheets were great too they usually irritate me. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and enjoyable on the terrace. The staff were very helpful and the inside was cleaned all the time. For the fifth star I would have like the terrace to have been a bit cleaner. It was very dusty. Not sure if this is a water saving issue. Toys were provided for small children and towels were available to hire. You could also borrow beach umbrellas. Overall a small business trying hard to promote green agenda while looking after the guests.

Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to speak with. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a balcony, air conditioning and a fridge as well as a TV. The common areas were always kept spotless. The shared social area/bar was a great place to relax, grab a drink and some food or play a board game. The hotel has lots of character and is eco-friendly and conscientious. Free filtered water on demand and a little library to borrow books was a lovely surprise. It is a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the beach and about 5 minutes to the Main Street, where there are shops and restaurants galore. The hotel has lots of information about what to do and see in the area and local events that are happening daily. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Bell Repòs. If I ever return to Platja d’Aro I would stay here again. Gràcies!
