Hotel Cetarium

Really enjoyed out stay. The hotel is right on the harbour and beside restaurants and bars. hotel itself is nicely presented and whilst our room was average size, it was perfectly adequate. Outside our door we had a small terrace area with chairs and a table. The pool area is a bonus with loungers and a tranquil setting (be aware that the pool does not appear to be heated so at the end of September is was cool.) Breakfast was also fantastic, probably the best on our stay in Sicily. Lots of options and very help staff. The reception staff were also very helpful arranging taxis and recommending restaurants. I am happy to recommend it.

Rooms are very clean but compact. The beautiful building is 2004 but using stone in traditional arches, with plate glass, around spacious courtyards. Limited free parking outside. Gorgeous salt swimming pool under palm trees. Right on harbour.

This is a little gem of a hotel, on a pretty part of the Sicilian coast. The rooms were cosy and pristine, beds were comfortable, shower was glorious - it was as if we were the first customers in a brand new facility. The service was impeccable, the breakfast was generous and varied, with bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juices, meat, eggs, cheese (they even had a basket of gluten free produce and options for people with allergies). There is a lovely courtyard with seating and plants, and an outdoor pool. There was even free parking outside the front of the hotel on our first night. On Saturday evening the area is busy with nightlife and very noisy, and we had to pay €10 to park in the carpark of a hotel just around the corner. However, the rooms were well sealed and the noise was unable to disturb us.

This is a very friendly family hotel that provides bed & breakfast which covers all the different tastes, hold & cold pastries, ham cheeses and will cook eggs if asked. This hotel is right in the centre of the quay, and is surrounded by lots of restaurants with excellent Italian food. You are also near a small beach at the top of the promenade, it is a slow but steep walk down to the sea with a small bar and food area. The hotel is also a short up hill walk to the town, again full of restaurants and shops. There is also pharmacies who are very helpful if you have a small issue. you are also a 10/15 minute walk to the Sunrise Beach bar & restaurant. You can rent sunbeds and brolleys from there and get food and drinks if needed. They are lovely and the hotel recommends them. We are going again this year, as we loved it so much.

This hotel far surpassed my expectations! The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was better than any other I have experienced throughout Italy - with a mix of sweet and savory offerings. The location is quite amazing! The hotel is located along a road with plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's a short walk to the castle and right across the street from the beautiful marina, where you can rent a boat and reserve water tours. Parking can be sticky, we parked at a sister hotel (a 3-minute walk), but plenty of free parking is within reasonable walking distance. Our room was upstairs in the courtyard, which was lovely. There were two chairs and a table to enjoy our morning coffee. The hotel also provided beach towels! Overall an amazing experience, and I look forward to returning.

Reception staff very helpful, great location, nice pool area, not many hotels in the area have this. Breakfast is typical continental style and nice. All areas of hotel clean n tidy. We had the suite that had Juliet balcony to the front overlooking harbour and a rear balcony with seating overlooking the inner hotel courtyard. Good Aircon. Very nice hotel would recommend it. Yes there is some noise from the street but it's to be expected if you stay in central harbour location surrounded by restaurants and a couple of bars. But only on Saturday is it loud. if tranquility is what your looking for stay out of central areas, and stop complaining when you stay in this great central location. With the beach just a short walk round the corner. Would stay again. Thank you to all staff very helpful and understood my English well.
