We booked this hotel for a family trip, and after reading some of the reviews beforehand, I was a little worried. However, our experience was very positive and quite different from what I had read. On arrival, the receptionist was friendly and spoke English to a reasonable level. The views from the breakfast hall were absolutely magnificent. The pool isn’t very big (it holds around 20 people max), but it’s perfect for relaxing, and the afternoon sun makes it a lovely spot to unwind. The rooms were very clean and well looked after. The housekeeping team worked hard every day to keep everything tidy, and it was always nice to return to a fresh room with a warm smile from the staff. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need, with both English and continental options, plus a full selection of tea and coffee. The location is good. While having a car would make things easier, it’s not essential – there’s a bus stop nearby, and it’s only a 15–20 minute walk to the seafront and port. If I had to mention one downside, it’s that the hotel is on a main road, so it can be a little noisy at night. That said, once you lower the blinds and switch on the air conditioning, the noise isn’t really noticeable. Overall, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and we felt we got great value for money. We would happily stay here again

No aircon No water And no help to get it fixed during the night And do not ask the reception for booking a taxi - you get over charged. Use a taxa app.

Do NOT stay here. The only good thing is the view. The staff is rude! They threatened us saying they would call the police because the alarm was going off all night every hour. They did nothing to check and when we complained they said they will call the police. They claimed someone smoked in a room. They are rude and make fun of people and mock them. Truly avoid. Our room had NO window and no fridge until we insisted on a fridge. Our bathroom flooded due to the shower being weird and no seal around the glass. The food was mid. Truly go down the road a few miles and pick another place.

I stayed with a school group. The whole week the pool was closed so no one in our group could use the pool the entire time we were there.

THE ROOM Exposed electronic door key holder but no key card it was a metal key which when used to unlock door it would be a manoeuvre or difficulty to open. When promised a safe this was not provided or given to us so I had to take my belongings with me just in case . The cupboard did not shut it kept banging open due to how cramped the room was. even though every night me and the other person in my room moved the beds apart every single time we walked back in they had pushed the two single beds back together again. They for some random reason decided to unplug and neatly arrange our plugs which were in the wall every time they came into the room, along with turning off the air-conditioning The shower was atrocious. It was aiming at the wall. There was two thick streams of water. It wasn’t really a shower more like a downpour which was aimed towards the wall and not the person. This was really difficult to shower in. The Bidet was very aggressive and soaked our room when turned on and then had to be cleaned up using g the towels accessible in our room due to someone slipping and falling into the tile floor The television was at an angle and was hanging on by the tv cable or else it would have fell off. The channels (I do understand that it is in Italy) didn’t have one channel in English meaning it was useless to us The windows in the room kept jamming and whenever opened it needed supervision as any one could just walk into your room through the window which lead to a sever case of paranoia as due to the previously mentioned lack of safe in our room we could of been robbed of our expensive belongings I was missing some clothing and it was 100% not in our room so I do believe that it must of been taken along the trip and I am very disappointed The phones In the rooms could ring anyone in the hotel so I was rung multiple times by random rooms as pranks in the night which really disturbed my sleep THE BREAKFAST At breakfast they served hotdogs as the sausages which was disappointing . The only good thing I found was the cake which was still dry but it tasted very nice. There spread of options was not for me and all I had on the rare occasion was a plastic cup of pineapple juice ( I wasn’t aloud to pour it myself someone else had to do it for me) which was finished before I sat down due to how thirsty I was and how small the plastic cup was THE DINNER At dinner the water was brought out in labelled bottles to be shared across the table. You got given one bottle of natural and one of sparkling but in some occasions they gave us two bottles of sparkling water even though it was labels natural this meant we had to go through a bottle of sparkling water (which no one on the table liked) so that we can get another bottle of water. This water bottle only served three people.and then was empty we then had to wait for more to come to to the table so we could serve the other half or the table and even the glasses they provided where small fine gla

Best hotel on our six week holiday. Gorgeous view of Mt Vesuvius from front windows. Enjoy a walk down the sloped street nearby and be in the centre of an old Italian town - see how the Italians really live. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Pool deck is terrific for cool get togethers and a cold dip. Loved, loved, loved this hotel!!

Hotel is clean. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is nice, however we showed up at 9.10am this morning and the service was dire. No cups no plates, all put away, staff were obviously not impressed even though breakfast ends at 9.30am. Josie on reception is lovely, she is the saving grace of the place. The dining room closes at 9.30am. That's it until 4pm when the bar opens. Nothing to eat or drink, no facilites at all . Dinner is from 7 pm , there is no food available after 9.30am. Reception can get you a drink if you ask. The walk to town is down a very steep hill for supplies if you can find a store. There is nothing nearby, No shops or restaurants. If you havent hired a car or moped then this is not the place to stay. Taxis very expensive. The Lidos (beaches) are privately owned, you can walk down the hill and along the road to them. You have to pay for entry and a sunbed .£40 for 2 of us. Panoramica has a pool on 2nd floor which is closed .There has been a cleaning machine in it for 2 days and all the chairs and sunbeds have been put away. We are moving hotels tomorrow, I'm not spending another week in the middle of nowhere overlooking the docks. If you don't hire a car or moped then the location is terrible. It's a good base but certainly not a hotel to stay in all day as there is nothing to do, nowhere to sit out or anything. We stayed 3 nights out of our 10 and have moved into a B&B in Castellammare centre.

Horrible mold on bathroom walls peeling walls rain poured in through vent told no other room available water damage on bedroom walls evening staff very rude lousy breakfast the only good thing I can say is front desk morning staff and maid service mopped up rain water quickly after I notified her

The view from the hotel is beautiful, but the room was moldy and musty. The AC barely worked and the air was very stale. Several people in our party were coughing and felt sick after staying one night. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel - the food was ok, but nothing special. Pros: great view and location Cons: cleanliness.

Excellent hotel, very clean, the breakfast was very complete, eggs, croissant, cereal, cakes, fruits, so on, all well prepared, rooms and bathrooms very clean, all white, good size,good shower.. the recepcionist Giusy was amazing, simpatia, always smiling and ready to help, as well at the restautant Francesco Salvatore such a nice person and willing to serve, smiling, also Alfonso, nice person... our family really enjoyed the stay, the view of the ocean is beatiful, parking lot available, we do recommend it and for sure we would return, these persons made the difference in our stay, congratulations!
