Such a beautiful relaxing site, with spacious pitches. The facilities are fantastic with lovely modern showers/toilets/mirror room inside a rustic barn! Amazing hosts who were so friendly and helpful and their evenings of food and drink were an added bonus. The local village is a short stroll away with a good sized swimming pool and really friendly locals. Thank you Alistair and Fiona for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back!

Pretty little campsite with lovely, quaint clean bathrooms. Great friendly welcome from the hosts with a glass of local wine. Enjoyed some star gazing. We were sad to have only booked to spend one night here.

The owners Fiona & Alasdair of Domaine le Poteau Camping et Gites Castelnau d’Auzan Gers France are awesome owners of this place and are very friendly and make you feel very welcome; they greet you on arrival with a glass of wine and take orders for breakfast baguettes croissants; they pick up from the local patisserie; it’s a beautiful setting nice and relaxing and the plot sizes for motor homes camping are large ; the chickens roam around free and the donkeys are beautiful ; the owners have created a super place and the best panoramic views ; the owners Fiona & Alasdair share their knowledge of places to go into small town ; where to eat ; small supermarché and buy local Armagnac and sell you local wine ; the locals are friendly too ; the facilities are excellent and kept very clean all of the showers and toilets; they constantly work hard to maintain this beautiful site and see Alasdair regular mowing all of the lawns to keep it looking very nice ; lots of plants and trees and Fiona tends to the flower pots and hanging baskets ; and fresh herbs available for to pick definitely recommend

This our second time at Le Poteau and we love it even more. The beauty as you drive in is amazing, trees, flowers, French antiques it's like stepping into a country living set. The new shower block is like a five star hotel. We are staying in the serviced tent this time and the double bed is incredibly comfortable. We were recommended a restaurant today and Fiona booked it for us, the food was superb and the setting absolute French auberge beauty and only six minutes away. We will try all of the town restaurants over the next few days as well as the wonderful camp dinner, which is always fabulous. I also had a massage on the campsite this morning which Fiona booked in advance, absolute heaven! I watched Alasdair bring in the local bread and croissants today whilst I drank my tea admiring the Bee Eaters and the Hoopoo. It truly is paradise. A must visit.

Prachtige kleinschalige camping van een jong koppel dat met veel enthousiasme en goed gevoel voor service, onze kampeervakantie tot een zalige 3 weken hebben gemaakt. Het sanitair wordt meerdere keren per dag gereinigd. Prijs is inclusief alles en is in voorseizoen met 26 euro per dag, heel mooi voor de kwaliteit van het geheel.

Petit bijou ! Les emplacements sont suffisamment grands et espacés les uns des autres. Les sanitaires très propres dans une ambiance champêtre. Les propriétaires accueillants et adorables. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Une excellente expérience.
