Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62 J32)

酒店早餐很好吃！對面就是滑雪場，很適合來滑雪的朋友居住。房間也很大很整潔，對於兩個人來説住得十分舒適！

This hotel advertises that it has air con but our third floor room does not have functioning air con. It is uncomfortably hot. The fan on the air con is so weedy that it does nothing useful. I've stayed in many premier inns before and I've never had a room that's meant to have air con get anywhere near this hot before. It isn't even hot outside - a max of 16C at the hottest point today and about 5C now. It's 4am and I can't sleep because of the heat. I asked earlier at reception if there was anything they could do. They were very nice, and pressed some buttons on their system which did make the fan go a bit more, but it wasn't enough to cool the room. If I could open the window properly I could reduce the heat but (as usual) they have things on the windows stopping them opening more than a crack. We stayed in this hotel last year and the air con was loud but at least it worked. Whoever is in charge of this - please fix it because this is the worst night's sleep I've ever had in a premier inn.

While the hotel itself is everything you’d expect from a premier inn, there is one huge problem with this hotel that they can’t seem to do anything about. I stay here frequently because of work and during the week you will always get car meets in the Xscape car park that goes on until at least midnight. Revving engines, car horns, screeching of tyres, speeding and misfiring exhausts. It happens everytime I stay here midweek. They really need to work with the police to put in place a dispersal order, but despite telling staff multiple times, seemingly there is nothing they can do. There is, but it doesn’t seem to happen. ne of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in . My room was filthy and been smoked in to the extent i had a sore throat in the morning. Dirty smelly and tired, drawing on the walls , filthy bathroom and curtains hanging off with a foul stench. The pull out bed was thick with dust and the bedding smelled musty. I changed room which to be honest didn't stink of smoke but was not much better, I found the staff very awkward and when i did see them they were stood around chatting and moaning. Breakfast was cold and the juice stations were almost completely empty. The whole place needs closing down and a deep clean and redecoration. Staff need some training to be the friendly happy face of the business.. Would Sir Lenny Henry stay here..... I think not.... CHECK ELSEWHERE BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS AWFUL GROTTY PLACE.
