Come see, play and stay at beautiful Lake Bomoseen, Vermont's largest lake!! When you stay here at our beautifully curated, renovated cottage you will enjoy your inside experience as much as your outdoor experience. Grand on a tiny scale. Our home is unique, warm and elegant, fully equipped, yet still evolving. The property itself imperfect, but nestled into a cliff with a sweet firepit which offers wonderful views and privacy. From almost every room, beautiful lake views. Although a stretch, one of the reasons we bought this quirky property was because it reminded us of our travels to the Amalfi coast: steep cliffs, fast cars and a short trek to the water....IYKYK. Our home is well situated. It has lake access, a private dock and two kayaks for your enjoyment (must wear life jackets). ( Dock is not set up for motor boats) Its walking distance to the LakeHouse Restaurant and Crystal Beach, a mile from the Taproom at LB Restaurant and Neshobe Beach. A kayak ride from all of those as well as Bomoseen State Park. 7 minutes to the town of Castleton, 10 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to Rutland, 30 minutes to Middlebury, 40 minutes to both Killington and Okemo/Jackson Gore ski areas. Or as we say in Vermont right around the corner. There are daily and weekly boat and jet ski rentals available (boating license required) at the Woodard Marina located right on LB.
