We would highly recommend the Plebis, the room was spacious and very clean with everything you need and the rain shower was wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious (they even organised a birthday cake for my husband). Paid parking is about 5/10 minutes walk away. Wonderfully central for everywhere in Catania. But the main attraction was the owners (Salatore, his wife and daghter Renata) who were so welcoming and warm and gave us great advice on local restaurants, bars and attractions, they nade our stay in Catania wonderful. We cannot recommend the Plebis highly enough and hope to return there again.

This property is excellent, the interior has been finished to a very high standard and is very clean, calm and comfortable. The room was very spacious with a beautiful terrace and the bathroom was large, modern - the walk in shower was excellent. The staff were so helpful and friendly offering lists of food and drink recommendations as well as a city map. Nothing was too much trouble. We only had one night here and wished we could have stayed longer, a fabulous experience.

Excellent b&b situated on a very busy street (with lots of street bbq restaurants right underneath the building) so I’d say if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you but it’s good value for money. The couple that own/run it are lovely; super helpful. The shower was very powerful and there was a great selection of food at breakfast time. Would recommend

Very clean , only 10 minutes from the historic center, helpful people, close by parking, aplace to choose. I will recomend it as a syrategic place to explore the eastern part of Sicily, visit Etna, Taormina, Alcantara park. You dont need a car to visit allt he main spots of the city, its easy to strollaround and get the feeling of the city.

Super! Recommend! Very close to the center. 10 min walking distance. Situated on the BBQ street, but the level of the noise was very low so the sleep was perfect. Very comfortable bed. The room is well equipped. The breakfast was delicious (sweets and traditional products).

Room was amazin: luxury comfort and tidy. The experience was noisy, both from outdoor and indoor sounds. Breakfast and hospitality are 5*. The center is close by. Renata is really nice and helpful, has great tipa regarding activities. Worth staying here!

We stayed in Catania only for one night but it was more than enough to apreciate the Plebis B&B. The staff is so generous In tending to your needs and likes. The rooms are very big. the shower in our room was beautiful and their were also very clean and comfortable. I would definetly recommend it! P.S. The breakfast is very nice as well!

Excellent B&B! The location is super - anarea with locals and still very closd to the center. Modern rooms with all faciliteter you need. Superb staff - helpful, professional and very friendly! The breakfasts were excellent, don't miss the fresh orange juice from the press... We cannot wait to return!

Plebis is a very pleasant B&B in Catania. It is located approximately five minutes walk from the famous via Etnea. The property is quite new and nicely finished. The room, which was very clean, has a nice contemporary feel and look and it is very spacious including the bathroom. Access to the property is from a long flight of steps and there is no elevator. But the owner Salvatore, was outside waiting for us when we arrived and he carried our luggage. The area immediately around the property is a bit run down. There are many cafes and eateries close by cooking street food. We did not feel unsafe walking to the B&B, even late at night. There is a secure parking 250 metres away from the property and the tariff there is very reasonable.
