Hotel Victoria Maiorino

Gorgeous hotel with a palpable sense of history! Every floor and room is unique and holds both the decor and the feel of the 1920s but is updated in all the right ways for contemporary comfort. The beds were moderately comfortable and the plumbing could be updated ( toilet flushing is a bit of loud and can be heard through the walls) but everything else is so remarkably wonderful. The service by staff are professional and the free breakfast is really outstanding. You will not regrets this experience.its also extremely clean!

Absolutely incredible hotel! Incredible staff. Staff was very welcoming, accommodating and helpful throughout the course of our stay. We were upgraded to a junior suite which made the whole stay even more comfortable. The food was exquisite. The hotel is conveniently located with less than 5 minutes from the station and bus station. There are shops nearby

This was a perfect hotel for us on this trip. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. Hotel Victoria was built in 1886 and retains a grand, historical quality. The rooms are spacious by most European hotel standards. One reason we picked it was for the air conditioning since we were traveling in June and knew with Climate Change it would be likely hot - and glad we did; it was in the 100s and the A/C worked great. The location in wonderful too - right on the main street (limited cars, mostly walkers) with all the shops and great restaurants in a short walk. We were worried this might mean noise but had no issues at all. Parking is free too which is unusual for European hotels. Breakfast, which was include in our deal, was nice. As of late June 2022 they were still (and the only hotel we encountered on our trip) following full COVID protocols.

Victorian Style hotel in the heart of the piazza full of stores and restaurants. Nice large comfortable room and amenities. The train station is steps away. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived super late and the restaurant was closed but they managed to make us something which was very kind. We would stay here again for sure!

I stayed here a total of 6 nights and it was well worth it. From the moment I entered the lobby and met the hospitable staff I knew this was the place for me. After having arrived from the USA, and a very long travel day, I drew a huge sigh of relief. The comfortable surroundings just put me in a calm state. Everyone was so helpful. The room was perfectly clean and welcoming. You can't beat the location, either. You can walk out onto the sidewalk and within minutes sip a caffe at the local bistrot, or try on a pretty dress in one of the many shops along the main drag.

I originally booked this hotel for one night - as my partner was rushed to the hospital in Cava (from amalfi) and I was all alone hoping to stay nearby. I didn’t speak any Italian and was very stressed. BUT This hotel had the kindest staff I’ve ever met - they took such good care of me, checked in with me every day, and helped in so many ways. I can’t begin to thank them enough - this has been such a wonderful stay. The rooms are wonderful and clean with great AC. there is an old charm to the building which makes it even better. 10/10 would recommend

Ottimo!!!! Tutto positivo. Cortesia eccellente, ottima pulizia, colazione ottima, soddisfacente. Ambiente confortevole, sia dentro, sia fuori in giardino. La gentilezza e disponibilità è una nota che sicuramente contraddistingue quest'hotel, comodissimo anche come posizione. Cena ottima, non si sono nemmeno risparmiati nell'offrire qualcosa, in menu, ma che non avevamo ordinato, sempre una coccola per il cliente!!! Tornerò volentieri. Grazie!

Hotel pulitissimo ed elegante, dagli arredi retro di ottimo gusto. Abbiamo prenotato una camera tripla e ci hanno riservato una suite spaziosa, molto bella (senza sovrapprezzo ovviamente). I cani sono benvenuti e non viene chiesto nessun costo in più per loro. Assolutamente consigliato.
