La Roccia Wellness Hotel

I went to Cavalese for a conference. I stayed almost a week in this wonderful hotel. Apart from the lovely and clean rooms, and the wondedful wellness facilities, a special compliment should be given to the personel: friendly and kind, with the unique ability to really let you feel welcome, seen and at home. Paolo, Emanuela and all whose name I do not remember, thank you for your warm hospitality!

Could not have asked for anything better! The suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, and being able to soak in the heated pool after a snowboarding session is pure luxury! As a vegetarian, I often struggle for decent meals, but there were more than enough options on both the standard menu and the daily one that meant I wasn't eating the same thing over and over. The food itself was imaginative and well-executed, and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again on a return to Cavalese.

(With many apologies to the owners for how long it took us to write this review!) From Marco and Federica, two Italians living in Edinburgh. Me and my wife stayed for 5 nights in the Hotel la Roccia, and honestly, we cannot rate it higher enough. We have traveled many hotels, including ski resorts and 5-star hotels, and the Hotel la Roccia is among the best we have experienced. The atmosphere and furniture are very modern, yet with a feeling of being deeply rooted in the territory: from the wood to the design, everything is a mixture of tradition and contemporary luxury. Luxury, however (at least in our opinion) can be standardized and even unpleasant if it makes you feel too many formalities are required and you cannot properly relax. By contrast, this hotel is family-run, and the constant presence, storytelling, and support of the owners, while never being intrusive, is a touch of warmth that makes luxury feel boutique. We cannot rate high enough the SPA (one of the best we have experienced in a mid-size hotel), the amazing view and proximity to the slopes, the quality of the wine at the bar, the mountain-view gym, and overall the tailored experience we have been offered. Also, our suite was beyond any rosier expectations: huge bathroom and tub, incredibly clean and spacious, with a breathtaking view. We skied, we ate, and yes, we also had to work (given we are academics lucky enough to be working if needed remotely): the spacious room was a pleasure to work within for its silence and coziness, and the sight of the mountains was always there with us. The owners should be proud of what they have achieved in restructuring a family hotel into the future, where everything, from pillows (there is even a pillow choice) to shower gel to wine and products feels not just chosen carefully but curated to the minutiae. As Italians living abroad, we felt this hotel combines all we are missing from our home country, but it has also all the international qualities we came to love by living in Edinburgh. The warmest pool in the Alps/Dolomiti! It is indoor/outdoor infinity pool with magnificent view. None other hotel offers that warm water and that view. It is just a blast. The staff is VERY nice and friendly, local gin is very good, and the room is clean. It is an older hotel with a huge recent upgrade. The breakfast is solid. I cannot say much about the dinner, as we do not want to eat at 7.30PM. It is Italy and it is their way of living, but it does not work for us.

Such and incredible experience. I loved the atmosphere and the surroundings. Beautiful view from our room as well. I can recommend this hotel if you want to relax, eat good food and enjoy some quality spa time.

Spent only one night here during March with my partner after a day on slopes. Had a junior suite, good and comfy, very wood based, fabulous whirlpool colourful bath. Hotel had great pool facilities, nice to chill after a hectic day. Staff very kind and friendly, all very clean, breakfast adequate. Would stop again
