A welcome. The best. Spent three days here.Also the best. Clean, tidy spotless, without question. Food I can't comment . I didn't eat.but I did have a drink Friendly, I'll be back. The people in this town are brilliant. There are a few bars about to be uncovered,if ye ken!

The service at this hotel is just exceptional. I have stayed here a few times recently on business as we’ve been doing some work in the area. The highlights of staying here are the staff and the standard of service provided, the rooms are comfortable, clean and seem recently refurbished. The food is great. Great breakfast omelette. We stayed here for the location as it is town centre and exactly where we needed to be, but it really surpassed all our expectations. Just to give one example: We asked for water to de-ice our windscreens and the member of staff came out and did it all for both our cars.

My wife and I were passing through Cavan Town on Sunday 13th October and decided to call for lunch at The fabulous Farnham Arms Hotel. We were met at The Carvery by very pleasant and helpful Staff and shown to a table where The Manager (Michael Shields) welcomed us. In the course of conversation we told him that we spent our honeymoon there (51 years ago!!) and told him we were delighted to call for the magnificent Lamb Stew on offer - it was outstanding value and tasted great. To our astonishment Michael arrived about 10 minutes later with complimentary Trifle Desserts to celebrate us using the hotel for our honeymoon all those years ago! Fantastic customer relations! We were so impressed and delighted to see the Farnham Arms going as strong as ever. This gesture will stand long in our memory and we assured Michael we would definitely be booking a stay in the near future. The Farnham Arms have a five star staff and we highly recommend a visit to everyone. P.S. The Lamb Stew was the best we had tasted for a very long time!

Apologies to the lovely staff in Farnham. Promised I would write but for some unknown reason, my mistake I think, I couldn’t do it until 3/12 expired. This was our second visit and we loved everything about it yet again. Beautiful walks in the grounds and a wonderful golf course to boot. Smashing pool indoor and out! - and grub brilliant as well. Rooms first class too. Short enough drive for us to get there from the Dublin Suburbs. The staff were all very helpful but the following went out of their way to look after us, Shannon in the Cedar Room, Mary at breakfast and Vicky on reception. Thank you all. We will be back!

Located in Cavan Town in County Cavan. The hotel staff was so very friendly and they all really made you feel as you were a family guest rather than the average hotel visitor. Reception could not have been more helpful in booking my rooms. The rooms themselves were immaculate and very modern in decor. (I say rooms because I stayed there twice on my trip to Ireland) The food served for breakfast and lunch was delicious. The wait staff is very attentive. The Farnham Arms are within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and local pubs. And for a nightcap, before retiring for the evening , a stop at their warm and welcoming cocktail lounge/restaurant “Percy French” is located on premises just opposite reception. It is the perfect spot to unwind after a full day. There is parking for guests directly behind the hotel on a first come first serve basis. I highly recommend a stay, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed

Very mixed experience. Friendly staff. Older property - the type of Irish hotel that I thought had disappeared 30 years ago. Room partially updated. Modern shower and hand basin, but no shelves for toiletries. Located on the narrow main street. Very limited parking in hard-to-find back courtyard. Seems largely occupied by social services and/or refugee individuals.

The Farnham arms is a decent spot to grab a pot of tea and a scone but I'd give the carvery a pass. Irish food has move on for the better since this was the main option for a Sunday lunch. Peoples restaurant is located in their building and a much better option all round.

Had to stay here recently as my mum was kept in the hospital(she home now and doing well). The receptionist(I didn’t get her name working the late shift Friday 11th August) was extremely helpful and made a very difficult situation easy. Thank you so much I appreciate everything. The hotel is clean and comfortable and breakfast was yum. Nice young man serving, very good at his job. Have been here in a few occasions and I am always happy with my experience. Great hotel in great location with fabulous staff

My family and I had a positive experience visiting Farnham arms last weekend. Great location in heart of Cavan Town. Rooms had everything required with comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful both before and during our visit. Nice bar area & good selection of food and drink. Good value for money overall. The hotel also has its own private car park. Will return on my next visit to Cavan.
