Remisens Hotel Epidaurus-All Inclusive recensioner

Location is great, a short 10-15 minute walk from the pretty fishing village. The hotel lacked a central point outside. The pool was very small. Sunbeds squeezed into every inch of this place. Most of these do not have an outlook or clear view of either the stunning sea view or dodgy looking pool. Tourists getting up early to put towels on beds. Catering staff were friendly, kind but looked exhausted. Reception staff were welcoming but lengthy queues quickly form around check in and check out times. The overall hotel looked run down compared to its more recently built sister next door. In terms of food, if you prefer quantity over quality this is the hotel for you. For example, the cod pieces were so dried up you had to cut it with pressure. The meat was pretty fatty. Desserts appeared to be a big hit with the kids. The location of the outside restaurant was a winner to watch the sunsets. This is a family hotel first and foremost.

Vi har precis kommit tillbaka från detta hotell. Placeringen av det är underbart om du bor i ett rum med havsutsikt utsikten är fantastisk. Vårt rum var mycket rent. Rena handdukar och sängar görs varje dag. Maten var dock inte bra. Och servicen i restaurangen var absurd. Det gjordes mycket lite röjning av tabeller. Vi kom tillbaka på natten och borden var fortfarande fulla av tallrikar koppar kvar mat etc från tetid. På morgonen var varje bord mer eller mindre fortfarande fullt av smutsiga krukor. När de pratade med några lokala människor berättade de att de hade personalproblem och många skakade bara på huvudet när vi berättade var vi bodde. Jag vet att vad som passar en inte alltid passar en annan. Cavtat är en vacker plats med många fina lägenheter. Vi hade en titt runt några som var vackra och inte för dyra. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka. Allt jag kan säga är att om du ska till cavtat, välj ditt boende noggrant.

most happy family holidays! my son had a lot of fun at the kids club with Stjepan and Nedjeljka. Definitely would come back again with the family, great hotel and environment, great food and all the entertainment team was really nice to us. thanks!

Short stay, but wonderful. We swam a lot in the sea and sunbathed. The room had a sea view with a small balcony, and the sunsets were beautiful. We could see Dubrovnik in the distance. Food was good, lots of choices of different types of meat, vegetables, pizza, grill and fish. Tempts you to try everything! Lots of people, children in the restaurant and on the beach, but it was high season so we didn't mind. There was no animation for adults except for the French one. The hotel animation was only for children.

Hotel was nice for 3 star rooms fine fantastic views and location. food however was not great very repetitive and soft drinks were absolutely disgusting had to buy at shop if you wanted a soft drink. Hotel reception staff very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed to only have French speaking entertainment we went to kids club to be told not for English kids today only French and to come back tomorrow kids were upset and wanted to join inside out of the sun.

Our compliments to the staff of the hotel, they couldn't been nicer. The rooms are clean but the outdoor could be cleaner, we often saw used glasses and plates around the pool area in the morning, which I think could be taken care of easily. If you are a coffee lover then be prepared to be disappointed. The all inclusive coffee is terrible. The hotel bar where u can get a very good coffee (not included) doesn't open until 10:00h. Food was ok, but nothing above that. If u are with a baby I would recommend to pick the room very carefuly (probably my mistake). We had to take three elevators to get to the outside area and the room was pretty small - as well as the bathroom. But I think that can be avoided if u book early enough.

Excellent place, beautiful place. This is my best experience in Croatia so far. Nice location, fresh air, clean water. Hotel is very nice, comfortable, clean rooms, entire hotel very clean. Food is excellent with so many different things on menu (all types of meat-beef, chicken, turkey, fish). Place is excellent for all generations and so much fun for everyone, especially for kids. All stuff was so nice, kind and professional, especially Almedina Habul who did so many things for our kids. Our kids love her and they're already missing her. I will highly recommend this place for everyone and we would like to come back in the future.

Stayed for 1 week with 2 teens. Lovely pool area right on beach. Sea can be accessed via beach or down steps straight into water. We had adjoining rooms with balcony and air con worked very well. Comfy beds, clean rooms. Issue with shower head repaired immediately. We were all inclusive but food was only ok. I’d have loved more cereal options at breakfast, perhaps more fruit variety. It was the same every day. Plenty of hot and cold options for both lunch and dinner. We ate out most evenings. Besides food options it was nice to have a change of scenery. A 10-12 minute stroll into Cavtat, huge selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Supermarket and chemist too. Lovely marina with fabulous yachts. Direct booking with hotel included a water taxi return trip to Dubrovnik. Gorgeous. Plenty of mosquitos around. Resorted to setting alarm to reserve sunbeds. 630am ish! And these aren’t monitored - some beds reserved all day until 5pm when people returned.! Overall a lovely holiday, location is ideal, so close to airport. Fabulous to have pool and sea next to each other. Food average, all inclusive soft drinks sickly sweet so dilute for sure!

Spent 10 days here, fantastic location away from busy Dubrovnik and short airport transfer. Stony beach but clean and clear water and plenty of good walks into Cavtat. The hotel is clearly short staffed with the only outdoor bar closed for the evening. Would echo many of the comments here regarding entertainment- not something we look for in a holiday but you can’t escape that it is primarily aimed at French speaking visitors. The pool was a bit disappointing as small and quickly filled up but the sea made up for it. Staff were all very friendly as are the locals. Rooms clean with great sea view. Would advise trips out to Dubrovnik, some of the various sea caves and into Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina which was a highlight of the trip. Definitely left more to do next time!

Decent hotel, food was very nice and customer service was also good, the only downside no Aircon in the rooms, and very small pool, quite a far from the centre, takes about 30/40 mins in a taxi. I would stay again no other issues while I was there

Hotel was lovely, don't find fault with it. Lovely clean swimming pools, loved the quiet swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff was very helpful and the bar lady was really lovely and always has a smile! Loved the sunset on the lobby balcony. Would definitely go back there as it's in a great location and only 10-15 minutes walk to Cavtat town. I can't understand why some people are leaving negative feedbacks, the staff do work extremely hard to make your stay enjoyable!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Remisens Epidaurus! The location is wonderful, with a private beach and crystal-clear water. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food exceeded our expectations with plenty of options. Huge thank you to Boris, Toni, and Minela at reception, they were incredibly helpful. Delilah and Kristina from the bar were amazing, and Sashi, Katja, and Maija made every mealtime a pleasure. The animation team was excellent too! Friendly staff, great facilities, and a perfect vibe. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Remisens Epidaurus! The location is perfect, with a private beach just steps away and stunning views all around. The food was delicious and offered great variety every day. A special thanks to the wonderful staff who made our stay unforgettable: Boris, Toni, and Minela at reception – so professional and welcoming. Delilah and Kristina at the bar are simply amazing. Sashi, Katja, and Maija at the restaurant were always kind and attentive. Also, a big shout-out to the animation team – full of energy and fun! Rooms were spotless and the cleaning staff was always cheerful. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back!

Stayed here with my partner and our 3yr old. I'd say it's a perfect place for a young family to be honest. 3yr old loved the three pools and park and kids club room. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and scenery. No issues getting sunbeds whilst we were there. Older kids may not enjoy it as much but for us it was ideal. Beach is stony and we had brought swim shoes with us which I'd say are a must!! Food was fine, all found something we enjoyed every mealtime. We're not big drinkers but the wine was passable (we went all inclusive) Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit tired but were clean and comfy. Have realistic expectations for a 3star hotel and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
