Enjoy Hotel

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. The location is great for the ferry but that’s probably about it. The hotel steps up to the reception area are tired. Our room looked out on to a building site. With no nets in the room we had to keep the curtains shut because someone was working in the building site and could look in. There are rules plastered all over the place. The one that really annoyed me was the rule that said there would be a fine if the hand towel was used as a shower mat. Might have been useful to have provided a shower mat so that we didn’t have to risk breaking our necks on a wet tiled floor!!! The sheets on the bed looked like they had been thrown on so the bare mattress was easily exposed. Loved the island of Caye Caulker but didn’t love this hotel.

Does the job if you just want a bed. If you plan on being out and about on the island / in the water all day; and only want a bed to sleep in then this is perfect. Very basic, no view or garden etc but it’s clean, good air con, fridge in room, good WiFi, free water top up and centrally located. If you want a hotel with a vibe and communal areas then this isn’t the one

Hotel has a great location. One block off the main drag, a 5 minute walk from the water taxi terminal. The hotel is fine. WiFi is mediocre. It’s Clean, but not luxurious, but Shanti at the front desk is exceptional. She is willing to help and accommodate any request you have.

We stayed here for three nights as part of a G-adventures tour and having read previous reviews I was concerned about what it would be like. However, it was all fine - clean rooms, effective air-con, hot water in the showers and a good location. There are some outside areas upstairs if you look for them with a refreshing breeze.

Very well located but absolutely disgusting. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning urgently, it smells like sewers. Bed linens are not better; I had to ask for a new set at the reception. Only one single poor pillow for a queen size bed! The 2 star rating is for the wifi which is correct and the frontdesk people who are helpful.

We stayed here as part of an organized tour with a group. Worst hotel of our trip, no sleep during the whole stay. The room was small, there were ants and bedbugs in the bedsheets, which was absolutely disgusting, the view was to 2 adjacent walls full with rubbish. No possibility to dry your clothes. Aircon was either freezingly cold or switched off and then we could not breathe due to the heat in the room. Remote was only in Chinese, so no help. Owners seemed obsessed with their towels and protecting them, as well as the old furniture from theft or damage: I’ve never seen so many warning signs in a hotel. The only good thing was the warm shower and the proximity to the beach. Never again!
